Or is it up to the publisher/dev?

Rarely if ever. Most of the sales figure we had so far were from the publishers (though since it was on indies, it was developer as well).
I can recall 2 cases only, Legend of Grimrock on one of GOG's conferences (40k units) and Defender's Quest which had show its numbers across all platforms. And GOG saying they had 6 million game downloads a couple of years ago.
I think the official term is "A helluva lot of złoty!"

But then again, they say that silence is (also) golden.

Just wondering cause Reus devs recently released their sales figure (235k overall) and I was wondering what percentage of that was from GOG sales.

All they show are growing columns on charts :-)

I'd say 8%-15%, but that is just guesswork.

That's nice. Do you know if they plan to create any new games?
Does Steam or Origin or Amazon show digital sales numbers? no reason too..
What about investors? Surely they must reveal how successful they're to them or does it depend on the company's policy?

Why not ask the devs directly ?

They published some new figures here a few days ago:

It appears GOG's profits are up 105% compared to the same period last year, if I understand the machine translation correctly.
There Should Be like a "high score" Just show us the best selling one of all time
Nah, it would just make me envious that I'm in the wrong buisness.

"In the second quarter CDP.pl significantly strengthened its service by purchasing the digital distribution of games from Electronic Arts , which is one of the leaders in the global market for digital entertainment. This allows the platform cdp.pl hit titles such hit series as " The Sims ", " FIFA ", " Battlefield " and " Mass Effect " . Another distribution agreement concluded in June with Swedish developer Paradox Interactive , known mainly from a strategic series of " Europa Universalis " ."

Wait, WHAT? Holy crap! Is Google Translate hallucinating or did they really get what I think it says they got?
