Wheeee! Looking forward to this baby, especially with the continuation of the campaign. We've stomped the barbaric orks, defeated the manipulative eldar and crushed the hive fleet, now its time to deal with the traitors

"Come, you Chaos scum, your false gods won't help you!"
I love Chaos!
Give me Dawn of War 1 not 2.
KILL FRENZY KILL FRENZY KILL FRENZY
Yes! More gratuitous killing!
I think I'll wait for a patch or two first. Plus, I want to see how they handle the Chaos faction this time around. I'd rather they didn't just give us another mirror of the Space Marines like last time.
EDIT: I've just seen this priced at £25. I hope they're packing a whole hell of a lot of content into this expansion. A whole hell of a lot.

I must admit I was disappointed to read that it was the Black Legion, when it's a chaos focussed expansion I was rather hoping for 5 chapters, one per god and a chaos undivided. Also that its not a chaos campaign, that would have been nice since I'm unlikely to play MP to find out what the new units are like

It would be IMO possible with 5 commanders to choose from (and the other armies would get new commanders too, to even the numbers, like SM - librarian, chaplain, eldar - harlequin, etc.).

I would LOVE some high-def nurgle death guard. They are my fav chaos legion and there backstory is quite interesting.

I suppose they're using the Black Legion as they plan on centring the campaign on a Black Crusade. Although that would mean the campaign focuses again on another pretty purposeless invasion. It would be nice to see the return of some storytelling to the campaign.
Maybe other Chaos factions will be available in multilplayer? I suppose we can only hope. They are claiming that this was going to be pretty substantial after all.
Yeah I sort of hope for more story in the campaign too, it'd be nice if it involved that daemon from the end of DoW1. Gabriel's actions comign back to bite him in the arse.
What I was thinking for the godded legions is that they could adhere to a fairly standard template but then have god specific demons and hero abilities. World Eaters would get a bloodthirster with bloodletters or fleshhounds and a psychotic close assault hero, Death Guard would get a great unclean one with plaguebearers or nurgling swarms and an extremely resiliant commander, tzeentch would get a lord of change with pink/blue horrors and a sorceror for a commander and slaanesh would get a keeper of secrets with daemonettes or noise marines and the commander could have some sort of sensory overload ability.
Add that to the usual traitor marines, possessed marines, cultists and vehicles and you'd have a fairly diverse force

I'd like to be able to get this. It's a shame even the retail version requires Steam.
I would assume they are using the Black Legion as they are Undivided and will allow them again to include Daemons from competing factions. I was a little dissapointed it wasn't the Thousand Suns given the alleged history between them and the Blood Ravens.
