A crossbow with a scope seems a bit excessive, if you need magnification on a target then its probably not going to be within range anyway

There is a gun attached to that crossbow as well so its probably more for that. Though a decent strength crossbow can shoot a good distance itself.

The crossbow is only mounted on the lower portion of the gun. You have to remove the barrel, so you can't have both the bow and the gun.
Also distance isn't necessarily the only factor in needing a scope. Wouldn't size of the target matter too?

I don't know if any of you have watched the youtube video about that crossbow.
About 10 seconds before the end, they start describing the customizable accessories. Everything looks fairly normal (for a sniper crossbow that is), just until the point you see an animation showing that you can strap a FUCKING CHAINSAW on that thing! (see picture)
To be honest, I hope they're kidding: a functioning chainsaw just a few cm from where your hand is supposed to be?
Still, that's a FUCKING CROSSBOW-MOUNTED CHAINSAW!
Now, either this is the most ridiculous thing i have ever seen...or the most awesome, i can't decide.
