This has been a game that I've never heard of, but many of the members at GoG talk about buying next on their "To Buy" lists. Now that it's going to be released, i'm just going to go and ahead and buy it when i can since so many people here like it.

Has this one been posted to the demo thread? I'd like to try it.

Never finished it and I honestly can't remember why... the parts that I do remember were fun and the graphics were dark and moody (think StarWars IV). The animations weren't perfect, but good enough.

Seems like my memory blocked those out... I love arcade games, but not necessarily in an adventure game...

Right. Like the horrible fight scenes in Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade, The Adventure Game. I never understood why Lucasarts thought it was a good idea to crowbar those into the game.

I played this not too long ago on my PSP with scummVM. There is a section in the game where you have to make money by playing a Simon the Sorcerer video game machine in an arcade. It has about 6 games which come up at random - some are dead easy and others are trickier. They aren't really arcade games - its stuff like finding matching pairs of items, a simon says clone, a battleships clone etc. Its was a pain playing them over and over to get enough cash.
There is an FMV shooter section later in the game (think Rebel Assault/Mad Dog McCree) which is more fun and much easier. There was also some sort of mini tactical game where you have to try and trap an alien by moving characters around a map. I can't think of any others off the top of my head..
None of the subgames are rock hard but they do require a bit of patience and aren't always all that much fun. Its still a decent adventure game and truly epic in length. The main problem I had with it was that there is no way to skip the walking animation. Getting between locations is often slow due to this and if you are wandering around stuck trying things it can take ages to figure out what to do next. Some of the puzzles are really obscure so this happens a lot.
I'd still be buying it if I didn't already own a copy but Simon the Sorcerer was a lot more fun.

I loved playing this game, although I have to agree that the Arcade parts were just painful (and so so so wrong in a game like this).
A question to you guys from GOG: any chance that you'd fill us in which games you are currently trying to win for this site or which games you've laid you eyes on (or which have actually a chance of appearing in the next few months)?

Oh my, I remember the times, when I read the articles about Feeble Files in computer magazines and admired the screenshots. Thank you GOG for all your work, can't wait for 30th of December :)

As Earthworm Jim came with really high quality audio I'm assuming the same will happen for the video with this one. :)

If you look at the game catalogue, The Feeble Files is set at a whopping 2.3 GB, so I think it's safe to assume that it's the high quality version.
