I have bought JA2:Unfinished Business, but it's not as nice as JA2. There's a lot more combat, that I'm get bored with it easily.
Looking forward to getting and replaying JA2.

If you get JA2 and JA: UB, do they work together, the way some expansions to games do? Or does the expansion kind of exist in its own world and not have any effect on JA2?

I think JA2:UB is a standalone expansion, as it doesn't require the original JA2 to play. I would expect if you get both, then it's just like 2 separate games, each in their own install folder.
Do correct me if I'm wrong.
I think I was reading that the latest patch made JA:2 able to import some things in from JA:2 Unfinished Business that were big improvements. So at least with the patch, they apparently in some way work together. Sorta.

Yeah, it imported the ability to actually toggle your mercs Line of Sight. Previously, it was kind of a guessing game as to whether your guy actually COULD see a potential target...now you know. Same thing with cover...you now know if you ARE, in fact, covered relative to the enemy.

Thanks for info.
I see that was patch 1.13. Anybody know if that's what's in the latest installer? Or how to check what patch you're on? I didn't see patch number on my opening splash screen.
