One question:

Will it be as brutally hard-core a ToEE. Just wondering because I like difficult games but I do have my threshold which ToEE pushes sometimes.

We can only hope that it is ToEE brutal :)

All those Co8 modders need something else to do with their free time after all.

Given the games referenced, I thought RoA was more hardcore than ToEE. Maybe it seemed that way because I was already familiar with the D&D ruleset.

For me, ToEE so far has been sucking because I have reload when a party members dies-which is a lot during early part I seem to find.
But yes hopefully this game has a lower difficulty option, or at least is challenging without rage-quiting hard.
