cogadh: Meh, Lifeforce is OK. The story is pretty flat and the acting is only passable. Pretty much the only reason to watch it is for the gratuitous T&A.

What is that a bad thing now? Thats like half my movie collection you're insulting there!

I never said it was a bad thing, but it is the only thing worth watching in that particular movie.
@cogadh- thanks for the correction :), i was in doubt about the cronology (trons vs las starfighter), i had never of Westworld though, i'll have to check that one out.
Robot Jox is a very good movie altough the robot animations are in stop motion the quality is very nice, they are actualy the bes part of the movie. :)
Another movie in the same line is Robot Jox 2 (it has another name that i don't remember right now) and it is fairly unkown.
Lifeforce, besides all T&A also had Patrick Stewart ( that was the only decent acting, note decent, not good), and it had an original aproach to the vampire genre.
Dark city was defeninitly a good and fairly unknown movie, and it has the gorgeous Jennifer Connelly.Tthat one is in my "to buy" list.
Heavy Metal F.A.K.K. 2 was an awesome sci-fi movie....

used old 2D vector graphics for some of its scenes and is therefore considered the first movie to make use of CGI. I didn't realize when I posted earlier that Westworld had a sequel called [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Futureworld]Futureworld in 1976 that was actually the first film to make use of 3D CGI, before both Tron and Last Starfighter. I've seen Westworld and it is a decent movie, but from what I have read so far, Futureworld was not so good.

Holy crap I had no idea Westworld was so old! I thought it was made about a decade later... wow. Either way what an excellent movie, and what an interesting bit of trivia!

Ghostfromthepast: About the Navigator wich one are you talking about) I know at least three movies with that name, and all of them great.

It's not a movie title. He's talking about the Guild Navigators in David Lynch's Dune movie.

Ghostfromthepast: Enemy Mine - with Dennis Quaid and Louis Gosset jr, altough it seems to be made on very low budget it has a certain theatrical feeling and it has a good story.

Enemy Mine is a fantastic movie. Extremely underrated!

Ghostfromthepast: Explorers - with Ethan Hawke and River phoenix is also a nice movie and it goes along a similar line like the Navigator.

Explorers was pretty fun. The other movie you're talking about is actually called Flight Of The Navigator, I think. Brief plotline: An unmanned mercury-like spacecraft with morphing capabilities suffers an AI malfunction, which renders it unable to find its way home. It enlists the help of a young boy from Earth to navigate it. Yes?

No, I was talking about a movie, actually. Specifically, This One.
@ Wishbone - Yes that is the one i was thinking aboutFlight of the Navigator.
@Coelocanth - I have also seen that one and liked it, altough it was some years ago and i don't remember much about it.

Well, he didn't quote, so I thought he meant all the other times the word "navigator" was mentioned.
Well here i am to join a couple of titles to the fray. :D
The Dark Side of the Moon I only saw this movie a couple of times and many years ago but i rememberit had a nice story.
The Running Man One of the lesser known movies with Arnold Schwarzeneger, enjoyable to watch.

Ive got a soft spot for the whole multi-dimensional thing.
I'm amazed that I forgot to add A Trip To The Moon, the very first sci-fi film which was made by a french magician
Total Recall was another awesome movie. Yeah, it had Arnold in it...it was still an awesome movie.
