I'm absolutely terrible at lying, which may be why I do it so infrequently.
Of course, if I was a GREAT liar I'd WANT you to think I was a bad one...

i could tell you but would you believe me???
Like Keldorn in the Underdark and among the sahuagin (for you BG2 fans out there.) :)
I'm too lazy to lie, but since I'm so twitchy in general people tend to think I have something to hide.
I lie like a champion but I more or less refuse to lie.
Doesn't endear me to my bosses when I point at fallacies in the line of:
Customer - "Can you do this?"
What we are supposed to say "What we can do is [something different]"
Customer - "You didn't answer my question. Can you do this?"
WWASTS - "We are able to do [something else]"
Customer - "Answer the question."
and so on...

I learned how to lie effectively while working as a mechanic. The reason for the little lie in the business is to cover up for any delays because some cars are old and have rusted parts that break and take forever to extract or the parts houses got the wrong part or whatever. And sometimes the damned part you're installing will not cooperate, thus delaying the repair. I don't like lying but I sometimes had to in order to keep people off my back so I could get the job done. Let me tell you right now, nothing slows a car repair more than some customer being up the mechanic's ass.
