amok: hm.. yes, but 1.3 limits you to emulate A500, A3000 and A2000. Really, what you want is 3.0 or 3.1 which emulates A1200 and CD32 (its where the best games and AGA versions are)
F4LL0UT: Depends on how you define "best". Pretty much all my favourites (and of most Amiga enthusiasts I know) are Amiga 500 games (which is not surprising since that was by far the most popular model and most games were developed for it), not to mention that at least some AGA and CD32 versions, even of popular titles, are just rip-offs developed by a third party that added some sub-par content like awful FMV and stuff.
Anyway, it sucks that their selection is pretty much random. I have quite a specific list of games I'd love to play again, I guess Amiga Forever's package will include a few of them but it's still a bit risky for me, at least for now.
Btw, there also exists a certain Polish group called The Company that creates full packages where you just have to run an executable which automatically starts an emulator (apparently some custom version of WinUAE) and one of numerous games (currently ~400 titles). They claim that it's legal but I'm not convinced so I'm not gonna link to them.
re. Amiga versions - I guess it depends on what you want. For me, the AGA versions always beats OCS/ECS, and I do not really see any reason messing wound with them... the main reason for me to get AF is to get legal 3.1 kickstarter. Yes, there is a large catalogue of games working on 1.3, and if it is A500 games you want then there is really no need to get anything else. I prefer A600 and A1200. All later games more or less needs at least 2.0 / 3.0 onwards.
re. The Company - Yes I know about them. I am also not sure about the legalities of the site, I think i saw a couple there which I know the right holders have not released the rights to... they work surprisingly well, though.
