stonebro: Has nothing to do with casual vs. hardcore. And I'm not saying no "experienced" gamers will ever buy a puzzle game from Amazon.
My apologies then. I'm just used to hearing that as the reason for hate towards such games. For the record, I play any game I like. Be it an FPS or something like 4 Elements. A games a game and I'm getting tired of people labeling something as crap simply because they have no interest in it. Sure, there are some real steaming piles of crap in "casual" games too (such as The Broken Clues), but there are also titles that can give the latest greatest FPS a run for its money too.
Now as far as Amazon are concerned, they've already lost. They lost the moment they decided regional restrictions was the way to go.
honorbuddy: My guess is that they have the region selling because of the publishers, I mean, why would Amazon want to limit themselves and make less money, I feel like the anger should be directed towards the publishers, not Amazon. Unless I am stupid and/or wrong here, in that case just go ahead in hating Amazon, and me.
Oh, and I don't buy that reason either, seeing as the same publishers offer up their games region free on other services such as BigFish games, Spintop games and all the other such portals.
