Lost Planet is 75% off on steam.

This game is actually quite fun.
Demo here: http://store.steampowered.com/app/6580/
I've seen it severely cheap for the 360 and I considered getting it, but bad reviews convinced me otherwise. however for the $4.99 price tag I'm quite interested.
I also saw that they are making a sequel some years after the first one that is multiplatform..
well, I believe it is multiplatform, it hasn't been said that it's an Xbox 360 exclusive, because the announcement trailer I believe, was Xbox 360 exclusive.

Sure I'll bu- Oh wait, the price is in euros now. Yeah, I won't be supporting that policy.
Very good game and a steal for that price.
It isn´t the Colonies Edition so I´d past on this one. Don´t buy dated versions, force them to give you all the content you are paying for.
£3.49 is a steal, I'd definitely buy it. Problem is I believe it still has SecuROM - fuck that for a laugh.

This one is the old version which was Steam only, even the retail version used steam online activation, it's the newer one which use Securom. (but the "nicer" securom, disk check only)
I bought this game the second I saw it in the stores (Steam only version). Which was pretty expensive, but definitely worth it. I'm yet to finish it though. I think it's well over a years since I last played, and the reason to that I stopped was because of a problem with one of the later bosses.
I will buy it tomorrow. I got Colonies too but this is so damn cheap.
Not my kind of game, I'd rather spend that much on Duke Nukem 3D...
Which I just did :P
All these deals when I don't have the money :x

Same deal here, dude. Left4Dead was the one game I would've liked to get at half price, but I bought beer instead.
I've played the demos of Lost Planet on PC and PS3 and while they were fun enough, it just always felt like another generic third person action shooter to me. Even at $5 bucks I'd probably still go after something on GOG first.
I have the Lost Colonies Edition, which sadly is incompatible with the multiplayer of the original version. Therefore, I have a question
Is the multiplayer in the original version as active/more active/less buggy than the Lost Colonies Edition?
Thankums!
I got this game a month ago, handpicked from a bargain bin for 9 euros.
Definitely worth a look for that price: the gameplay is solid and fun, and the game is a joy ride. One of the best third person shooters i've tried.
Just a disclaimer though: if you like a good gameplay merged seamlessly with a good story, stay the fuck away from this one.
Like i already said in another post: great gameplay, but horrible, HORRIBLE story.

And even in Euros you guys still pay less than the price Capcom expect people in Japan to pay for it. I'll be getting a relative to gift it to me from the UK so I can save 1000 yen.
