And surely the US should be celebrating by eating a mixture of German and French cuisine? I mean, we only "retreated" because everyone ganged up on the poor little Great British Empire.
Oh and OT: I'll be at a party, but it's not in any way related to the US, just happens to be on the 4th!

We're heading up there early to do some "tailgating" and a little bar-b-q before hand too!
It's gonna be awesome!

I'm going to a little ski resort town in Colorado (in the rocky mountains at 11000 feet up), packing 12 family members into a little townhouse and watching the town fireworks display. Might also float down a river on an inner tube and ride the gondola to the top of the mountain.
(No skiing of course, because it's summer here.)

I was looking at various military victories which led me onto other things and I decided against posting an article about an auction entry for a French made Rifle that had never been fired and only dropped once.
