Aliasalpha: Heh just for the hel of it I might buy Waxworks and run it on a GTX295

Vestin: As much of a Nvidia fanboy as I am, you might want to get a 5970 instead of the 295, as they are (roughly) similarly prices but the 5970 [url=http://media.bestofmicro.com/R/0/230364/original/Resident%20Evil%205%208xAA.png]clearly [url=http://www.techspot.com/articles-info/221/bench/L4D2_03.png]in performance...

So it does DX11. Whoop-de-fucking doo. It's still more expensive. The 5970 makes the GTX 295 look like a friggin budget card. (Not by a lot, but whatever)
Another publisher is always great news. Welcome to gog cant wait to see your other games.

If you're not changing hardware too often, then DX11 and that extra performance make it VERY tempting, IMO...
Don't get me wrong - I'm really happy with my 985 and will probably switch to another card roughly when Nvidia releases their 3xx or 4xx, but if ATI keeps making such nice cards... who knows : 3 ?
I'm not particularly familiar with the UFO series, but it's very, very nice to see 1C Company on GOG.com.
Also, Pathologic was published by Buka Entertainment, which has been acquired by 1C Company a couple of years ago, so maybe... :)
Also:
Space Rangers (1 & 2), Hammer & Sickle, 7.62 and (I'd guess) many other games that passed by the West. I.e. there might be a few gems here, even if a lot are slightly imperfect/flawed.
Space Rangers 2 yes! *crosses fingers*
1C games without Starforce! Been waiting and hoping for that a long time! Hopefully this means I will finally get to play Space Rangers 2 one of these days, which I have been putting off ever since its release because of the blasted DRM. Great news indeed!

Agreed. This is the most exciting news I've heard from GOG all year - besting even the Might & Magic release. There are so many games I want to get from 1C, but was put off by Starforce. So many, just so many...
Here's hoping for a nice partnership with 1C, they have a great catalog.

It's good to see new games here. I'm more interested in UFO Aftershock than Aftermath, mostly because I own the latter, and I put off buying Aftershock because of the Starforce issues with it. Just a shame it is $9.99 and not $5.99 as I'd have bought it as soon as it was available. Oh well.
That's one hell of a catalogue! Let's hope that much of it winds up here.
there is no reason not to buy the first 3 x-com games on direct2drive because they are completely DRM free there. you missed your chance to pick them all up for just $5 when they had their anniversary sale about a month ago
Here is the list for anyone wondering:

Nice, I had looked at the UFO series before, but price/availability/drmness did not make it a good option.
One for later. I want to try to get through what I have now before getting a load of stuff more.
