There's so much to do, check these off your list before the big sale ends!

We're bidding farewell to the big Sale, and the #SummerGaming can really begin!
The sale ends on June 18, and these are the last few days to stock up on games for your DRM-free summer playlist – games you'll easily pack up and play anywhere, like by the beach or out camping, which is not nearly as ridiculous as it sounds.

We made a to-do list for keeping track of what needs doing:

✓ Check if you're close to unlocking Sunless Sea or RiME! Spending $5 before the sale ends gets you the first, spending $20 unlocks the latter.

✓ XCOM: Enemy Unknown premieres DRM-free and invades #SummerGaming with an 80% discount, this award-winning turn-based strategy is a wonderful choice for slow and steady laptop gaming.

✓ Catch up on what's big and new in the sale! Over fifty games joined the lineup including Kingdom Come: Deliverance Pack (-20%), Surviving Mars (-30%) and The Witcher 3 – GOTY (-60%), realMyst (-70%), Commandos (-90%), FAR: Lone Sails (-10%), Mages of Mystralia (-40%), Hyper Light Drifter (-60%), Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak (-75%) and many others.

✓ Visit gog.com/connect and turn your participating Steam games DRM-free.

✓ Itching for Cyberpunk 2077? Oh boy, who isn't. Scratch that itch with our best-of collection of cyberpunk-inspired games.

The #SummerGaming Sale will run through June 18, 10 PM UTC.
It was nice sale. I haven't reached the second threshold for RiME (not very interested, to be honest), but I've spent much more than planned at the beginning. Some classics received fantastic discounts. Thanks, GOG!

Bought:
• Theme Hospital
• Sherlock Holmes: Secret of the Silver Earring
• Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened - Remastered
• The Testament of Sherlock Holmes
• Sherlock Holmes: Nemesis - Remastered
• Populous
• SimCity 2000 Special Edition
• Starflight 1
• Starflight 2
• Gomo
• Praetorians
• Imperial Glory

Freebies:
• Xenonauts
• Sunless Sea (owned)
• Psychonauts
• Banner Saga
• Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs
• Ziggurat

There are still some wishlisted titles in good prices and with a bit different bonus game I'd probably spend that missing $6 to get it. But with RiME I'd rather keep funds in GOG Wallet for some Daily Deals or sth.

Have you had a chance to play those 3 yet? I just looked them up based on your purchase of them, and they seem to be better than their low prices imply. You get what you pay for?

ciemnogrodzianin: Bought:
• The Testament of Sherlock Holmes
I bought "The Testament of Sherlock Holmes" too. The discount is fantastic. Then I realized there is the matter of the devil's daughter, if I wish to fully complete my collection (but my budget is already blown, haha). Overall, there are so many awesome discounts! Due to my lengthy train of a wishlist, there are always plenty of games to get!

Yes! The party should just keep going.and going... $50 tier, $100 tier, etc. $20 maximum is far too low.

Whenever I see the Devil's Daughter I get furious about the fact that they released the bad new game here (desperate attempt to get some more sales of this failed product?) and keep the good new game drm'ed.

Which one is the game that they kept Drm'ed and refuse to release here? (genuine question)

I actually picked up Awakening this sale - how is it? I'm not an adventure gamer, but I sort of like "find evidence and piece it together" sort of idea... and obviously I'm a Lovecraft / Cthulhu fan which is what got me to pull the trigger.
This was a great sale! Thank you for freebies, unlocks and awesome discounts...

$250 tier : Cyberpunk 2077 sweepstake ( win a trip to Warsaw and play the beta )

I've only played Sherlock Holmes vs Jack the Ripper and The Testament of Sherlock Holmes, and I liked them a lot (they have been some of the last physical games I've bought, btw). I was actually looking forward to play Crimes & Punishments sooner or later, no idea about The Awakened though...

Desmight:
Thanks! So it sounds like at least a few of the games in the series are pretty good - I have high hopes. And like I said I'm going to play it mostly for the juicy Cthulhu references.

Why not? I'm sure some of us are spending quite impressive amount of money on those sales ; )

Not a bad idea actually ; ) (except cost of the trip to Warsaw, that should be on you)
I bet this would work for many.
I decided and redecided, moved from and to wishlist and shopping basket, watched reviews and youtube videos and compared with RWarehall's spreadsheet. This is my final GOG Summer Sale 2018 purchase:

Real Myst
Enclave
Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath HD
Oddworld: Munch's Odysee
The Park
Downwell
Hyper Light Drifter
AER - Memories of Old
Blackhole
The Saboteur
LEGO: Pirates of the Caribbean
LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures
LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues
Higurashi: When they Cry Chapter 1

(Ziggurat and Sunless Sea were given for free. I already owned RIME and gifted it)

Thank you GOG for yet another great and exiting sale. No food for me for the next week - but some sacrifices have to be made :)
