I WANT to buy your games, but your prices are becoming outrageous to the point of absurdity. I want to buy "Gary Grigsby’s War in the West" because it looks like an amazing wargame and has been lavished with praise by all strategy gaming sites. Yet on GOG this game is ONE HUNDRED AND FOURTEEN DOLLARS (AUD).

GOG you are driving me to piracy and it's not something I want to do. And before anyone says anything, no I'm not poor, yes I have a disposable income, but I can't justify spending so much money on digital software. This is ridiculous.

74 euros already isn't attractive. xd

The price is the same at steam. If you want to complain about the price you could wait till the discounted price also matches Steam low. Nobody forces you to buy everything here.
You realize that the publisher sets the price?

The base game here for this title in united states cost $80. Which is way higher than is normal.
Normally a retailer takes gets to keep 40% of the cost for themselves as profit, on other digital sites its 30%.
30% of $80 USdollars is 24. 80 - 24 = 56.
Just something to think about.

You would have to interview the publisher (Matrix games) as to why they believe that high price was justified.
GOG is the distributor/retailer. Matrix games is the publisher.
It's exactly the same price on GOG as it is on Steam and Matrix's own site, so GOG isn't 'driving' you anywhere.

Aren't you forgetting about the end of the Fair Price Package?

Then don't resort to piracy. Sit and wait for the price to come down like so many others would do.

Then don't. There, problem solved.

So what? Is this the only game in the history of ever and if you don't play it right this second this cute puppy will drown?

Not really. I just checked and $80 US are $111.41 AU at the moment. Fair price package wouldn't really have helped you in this case.

Sales, mate; yarr!
They priced it high everywhere. If you don't think it's worth it, wait for a sale. There is no excuse for piracy in this case, it's just you feeling entitled to the game no matter what which is B.S. I'd like to play Bloodborne but I'm not paying for a PS4 just to do so, and that's just life.
What a price for plain maps, and a five year old game on top of this... And not including the DLC for 75 EUROS it's ludicrous! Big facepalm at this publisher.
