Syphon72: I never dealt with a gaming store that had good support from experience. It's always seems to be mix bags or no support at all.
rjbuffchix: Ok so please know that I absolutely do not want to start crap in this topic, and I know others may have had negative experiences, but I have to say I *personally* had a very positive experience with Zoom-Platform support in the past. Granted this is going back a few years at this point and I may be misremembering some detail. But I know due to some problem I had downloading or whatnot at the time, they had offered me (at least, iirc) one free game of my choice (no idea if they do this still, or if even then it varied case by case, etc). In my communications I had also requested they bring Commander Blood to the store, a game which is a very obscure old title (and which I genuinely wanted...my request wasn't like some "gotcha" sort of challenge or anything), which they somehow did manage to get at a later point in time! (This was obviously an insta-buy for me as not only did I want the game, but I am doubtful they would have got it without me, or perhaps others too, requesting it).
ZP has a small number of games to support. I already had a few ZP game issues that never got answered. It could be because it got lost in Discord. Not easy to keep track of everything using Discord for support.
My last couple of experience with GOG support has been good. But it's not always like that.
tfishell: Can GOG not afford to improve things? They made like $1.25 million in profit last year, but maybe they plan on using it for prepayments for games?
They could hire new support members with that money and still have plenty left over.
