I bought and built my very first desktop this summer (my previous computers were inherited from my siblings), and for me the budget was most important. All in all, the final sum was equal to about 630 dollars.
My card: msi GeForce® GTX 1050 Ti GAMING 4G
The whole "gaming" classified components (seats, glasses, mouses, mousepads......) are repulsive in my opinion. They're not my cup of tea. For me, they're pretty much stock stuff with a few lights on with other edgy and cool details, but are a lot more expensive. I feel that they are directed towards young teenagers who play low/medium-demanding games (LoL, tf2, CSGO - not bad games btw) whom likes to boast about their "gaming" stuff. I guess there's also some sort of illusion that using "gaming" gear will automatically make you a better player, I seriously have a friend who bought a gaming seat and glasses to play LoL.
Anyhow, this graphic card was on sale and it suited really well with my cpu (intel g4560).
I can play Witcher 3 on pretty much ultra with a few exceptions, but I chose to play good old games instead.
