Ok, it's sunday and I'm a little bored.
So I thought about doing something, that I never ever really tried before: writing poems.
After writing some (mostly silly) stuff, I tried to find some inspiration online.
There I stumbled over the Japanese form of poems called: Haiku.
Haikus come with some more or less strict rules:

http://grammar.yourdictionary.com/style-and-usage/rules-for-writing-haiku.html
http://www.tempslibres.org/tl/en/theo/mode02.html
But screw rules...
The most interesting thing to me was the fact, that Haikus are not as our usual poems.
Haikus don't have to rhyme or follow a rhythm, but they have a certain pattern, that is essential to them:
17 syllables (in three lines).
That's five (5) syllables in the first line, seven (7) syllables in the second line, and five (5) syllables in the third line.
I found that intriguing.
Now, I am in no way or shape a poet, but I played with the format and came up with one "haiku" (or what I
would call one at least - despite the strict rules), of which I thought would be fitting for a new GOG forum game...
So - why not unleash your inner poet and write some Haikus about games.
Games in general, or a very specific game or genre or ...whatever...grab the quill and let the creativity flow. ;o)
Here's what I came up with:
Life is like a game
losing the last precious heart
brings you only grief
