Here are some examples of haiku, many of which do not follow the 5-7-5 pattern (in English at least). I am by no means a haiku expert nor am I fluent in Japanese, but I'll give it a shot.

Thank you, I wasn't sure if I got them correctly.
From what I understand the aim is to evoke emotion from the obvious, without self-insertion or actually using emotional language, but just letting the pictures speak. Rather challenging in the thematic context of gaming, but fun to try.
That said, if annoyance is an emotion, I might have two more:

His hardware outdated
A soldier contemplates the shadows
That are slowing him down

On an empty beach
He finally found his voice
With laughter
