Joking and levity aside, I would appreciate it if he really has a disorder for you not to make fun of it(or at least tone it back a bit). Note I also asked him to be respectful of you as well, fwiw.

Yes. Dumasaphobia is a truly debilitating phobia. It can be difficult... but I maintain hope as I struggle through the days.
