It's summer in the USA and the corn is excellent!

How to make corn on the cob like a pro:

# Equipment
* A largish pot
* A heat source - I recommend a stove top but a campfire will do

# Ingredients
* Fresh, unhusked corn
* Enough water to cover all of your corn in a large pot

# Instructions
* Add water to pot and heat it to a rolling boil
* Add your corn cobs to the pot
* Note: the rolling boil should subside as you're adding your corn
* Wait until the water returns to a rolling boil
* Once the water has returned to boiling, remove the corn!
* Eat!

You may wish to add your condiment of choice to the corn. Personally, I don't think anything needs to be added since fresh corn is loaded with sugar, already. Although, if you decide to cut it off of the cob, a little butter and pepper are

This whole process takes ~10 minutes, most of it due boiling water.

Enjoy!

In Canada, BULLSHIT!

They'd see that as a complete waste of ice that could better be served being skated on.

I tried to improvise a crock pot recipe of beef, vegetables, beer or wine but I drank the wine and the beer so had to substitute beef broth so ended up with the normal starter recipe for first time crock pot user. The result was still decent as it's hard to mess up cooking with a crock pot.
I think we really need to start with the basics
