No. these kind of threads are absolutely necessary. Sadly, you have to make as much fuss as possible to get GOG to actually care. This is just one of many occurences where it's blatantly obvious that GOG doesn't test their games thoroughly (or at all) without galaxy.
Nowadays, as a non-galaxy user, you can't be sure anymore if a game just works here as intended without the "optional client" (GOG's advertisement) and you're forced to wait for others to report their findings. It's frustrating for us customers and embarrassing for GOG.

Why is this post being downvoted? He/she makes a valid point. GOG needs to fix this asap. Zero patience for Galaxy screwing games up.

Well, it's good to hear that this is a bug and not a sneaky DRM-'feature'. That means I can keep the game off the List. But please keep us updated on what work is done to fix this.
If this turns into another persistent bug that isn't fixed soon, it would look suspiciously like another attempt to 'promote' Galaxy not by making Galaxy good but by making offline installers worse.

I' haven't checked it myself, but gogdb.org doesn't show any updates to the game after the initial release back in May, so probably not fixed.

Why should they fix it? The people stopped pestering them when they said they look into it; goal archived.

Somehow, this sht storm regarding HITMAN has destroyed my illusions about GOG. I can now objectively see how many major flaws this platform has. Also, the last time a played some SR3R achievements did not work properly.

EDIT: I like Galaxy and all, but I think GOG should keep it 100 percent optional, which they fail to do in so many cases (outdated installers for non-galaxy people, bugs like these, and I am sure there are plenty more).

Humm was unaware of this as this is in my backlog .. they this seems like a minor thing .. still should be fixed though I agree just saying if you keep the outfits progress and can easily reset things back its atleast nothing major nor game breaking .. thats all I mean but it sounds like its not a major thing

Yeah, I feel the same way. It really, really sucks when you absolutely love GOG as a concept and, in my case, buy almost exclusively from GOG but this is just too much. The arrogance and dishonesty isn't something that people forget.
