Zero-G explosions.

Overload is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com
Spin, dive, shoot, blow stuff up - you got six degrees of freedom and you will need every single one of them if you're to destroy your mechanical enemies and rescue your people before disaster hits. Descent into an epic single-player campaign with upgradeable ships and challenge levels, then go online for more bombastic action and ship customization.

UPDATE: Be sure to check out the demo for a nice slice of the action, before you make up your mind.
Took your sweet ass time, didn't you?
Has anybody of the old Descent fans played this? How is it?
Oooh sexy 6 degrees of freedom nausea inducing hotness. Me like, old school with a shiny polish.

I really can't put it any better than this.

I have a naturally strong stomach but Descent was never good for me, I can't imagine this is going to be much better. :P

Still, it does look good.

It is Decent 4 without the IP. It feels like the older games, looks like them, plays like them, and is genuinely just a new version of the classics. It scratches the itch that I've had since Interplay collapsed.

I loved the demo on steam and am buying the game as soon as I get home from work.
I remember seeing some Hoohah about this game not being here.
Enjoy the game y'all.
What about the Soundtrack, will it be released to ? Or is this an Steam exclusive ?
VR support... I remember when tested Descent 2 with the then (very clunky) VR systems... People got really sick playing "6 degrees of freedom".
That slightly delayed release actually works in my favor. I can grab this and get Rime, which is on my wishlist, for free. I'm looking forward to mine bot blasting. :)
Oh man, this game looks sweet! Unfortunately I'd need a new gaming rig to play it. My four year old laptop won't make the grade.
Does this game support TrackIR? If yes (and old posts on steam refer to that), please add that to the game card. Should help sales.

Well I did like Descent (1), but I really have problems with it's maze-like levels. So that's my biggest concern about this title.
Thanks for the full Galaxy support. Wishlisted.
