Money in our wallet no more :)
The price... oh the price. lol
I really shouldn't. A triple A priced game with a sale around the corner, and afew other big releases around the corner. Thanks for bringing it here in any case.
Hey, the size seems to have come down to 68GB. I like the speed of that response from the devs on optimization! ;-)
$50 and doesn't even include OST.
With the holiday season and GOG's next big sale on the way in 2-3 weeks, I'll wishlist it for now. Though I wouldn't be suprised if this goes on sale in a few months.

Is it true the game is misandric?

GeraltOfRivia_PL: Is it true the game is misandric?
Main character is female. Most other characters are poorly written, and the great big villain is a (male) tech corp CEO- you get to find out why as the game goes on;

I wouldn't say it has any particular misandric traits, though. The MC's father figure is one of the main driving motivations of the plot, and and there's a (handful) of interesting characters, both male and female. Overall, I wouldn't consider characters to be the game's strong point by any measure, though.
While I figured they wouldn't release this via a deep discount, I chalk that up to Sony's AAA pricing mandate in order to be released here, I'll simply wait for a sale, so like most folks here I'll wishlist this... plus, it's going up against CP2k77's release that's just around the corner and I/we'll be too busy with that game to even consider playing it at that price!

I kinda agree. I think the whole premise for the game is a lot more interesting on paper than it is in action. It's by no means a bad game but I didn't get that wow-sensation that so many others seems to have had.

Mostly flat characters and the male ones are generally showed as being dumber and less competent than the female ones. A lot of yapping about "my sister is so cool" or "I wish I was as good a hunter as my wife" etc.
On top of that, there is no love interest or anything similar that would give the MC further depth.
TLDR: dull female protagonist surrounded by stupid men and brave women. Not misandric though.

M3troid: Now talk to Sony to bring Wipeout 2097/XL here. :)
If you havent already played it - check out "Redout". Its on GOG. Its made by some crazy italians and heavily inspired by wipeout. Checkout some youtube videos where good players are playing (theres a really good teaching series as well).

Its not wipeout but its very close and pretty damn good.

timmy010: If this support win 7-dx12, I would pick this up otherwise I'm not bothered. Anyone test this on win7?
Unlike some other DX12 only games like RDR2, this game does NOT run on Win7 at all.
Period.

shame about no discount, I imagine that would have helped sell a lot more. But I'm certainly glad the game is here and I hope GOG can get more Snoy games here, especially Psygnosis.
Played almost 3 hours just now. Aside from a teeny hiccup during one cutscene it seems to be running splendidly. Buttery smooth gameplay at 1080P and 60fps on my i7-9700k & 2060 Super with everything maxed except for anti-aliasing - frankly, the camera-based option looks plenty good to me - and motion blur because... fuck motion blur. ;) Thanks Steam players for the beta testing. =P

No launch discount? Some new trend perhaps?
It's great to see it here tho.

Machinators: No launch discount for a 3 year old previous gen game?
avatar
Matruchus: Wishlisted. Too expensive for a 3 year old game. 30€ would have been acceptable not 50€ when Cyberpunk 2077 is launching around the corner.
avatar
Ancient-Red-Dragon: That's an awfully high price for a game that is 3 years old.
avatar
Time4Tea: I agree also the price seems a bit steep for a 3yo game
It wasn't for 3 years ON PC specificly. This port was released less than 6 months ago.

avatar
Time4Tea: I will be waiting for confirmation it runs in Linux and perhaps a discount in January.

fronzelneekburm: Do they have any gud games in their catalogue that we might see here now?

njStryfe: While I appreciate that the game is available here without DRM, it *is* a five year old game at this point. I just can't justify paying full price for that.
It is a PC port that will be 4 months old in 2 weeks and it is a port of a few years old PS4 game.

If it would only support Vulkan the problem would be fixed for major amount of related users. Well, I guess one can wish.

Looks interesting. Sadly my wallet has already tapped out from preparing for the holidays so wishlisted for now.

dixxn: Whoa the price, though... Okay, I don't think I can afford this one. At least not now. It's about 3,5x more compared to my local steam price. And no discount. DRM free sure cost A LOT, eh.
I wish publishers would stop behaving in this manner. Just sell the product, don't try to leverage certain audiences and platforms by charging them more than what you're offering elsewhere.
