Probably was referring to platforms as in stores to buy from.
On that note, I think I saw someone asking the devs on twitter for a possible release on GoG which they were definitely open to. But don't quote me on that.

Yep, I was referring to stores.

I also asked the devs on Kickstarter if they will release on GOG, I got the following answer:
"We are in talks with GOG, but haven't confirmed anything yet. Will post an announcement on our twitter when that changes."

the game looks awesome and the early bird tier is still available with about 200 keys left for those that are interested! (I know I am)
I definitely like the look of this. It's also great that they detail what kind of graphical options there will be like switching from the sprite look to the actual 3D models.

I'm really liking this comeback of the '90s shooter design by these smaller devs. :)

Looks... bloody... awesome! (12-minute, continuous gameplay video)

I must say I wasn't that wild about the super-pixely look at first, but after watching that video it sure is growing on me. Looks very much like Doom with actual 3D levels. I really like the map in its 3D form, too. That said, I do hope they'll add more of their own thing too other than looking like a super fancy non-GZDoom mod though.
Just a friendly reminder to people, if ya like it....hit that +

Looks like they met their base funding goal an hour ago or so. They shouldn't have much trouble meeting their first three stretch goals. Looking forward to see how this one will develop.

Hopefully this'll be on GOG's watchlist.
I'm impressed. It is possible to successfully mix AAA and old school, after all.

I'd rather say "mixing old school with new mechanics and looks". Mostly because "AAA" means huge budget and "engagement" rather than fun. I hope this game will end up being anything but AAA-like! :P
So far it looks to be shaping up really, really well.
The full 3d map is also super badass.
I can't tell if my laptop will be able to run it though.
e:Sprite mode looks to help me out.
