MadalinStroe: Just for my peace of mind, I didn't mean to imply that your processor is old, the difference between equivalent Skylake and Kaby processors is only about 5%, and in games that difference would be utterly irrelevant, which is why I find what Microsoft is doing even more despicable.

UnrealQuakie: but reinstalling is annoying -_- takes around 3 hours to fix everything up to snuff but yeah! I will re activate this thread when the problem comes back and try to record a video showing it or something. but cross fingers for me! XD

richlind33: Never done it but I've been thinking about it because reinstalling win 1-2 times a year is necessary if you want optimal performance, and it's the best way to deal with serious malware/virus issues. Not sure how much it costs to get a decent prog.

Themken: Basically take a snapshot of your hard disk after all the updaes are in place and save it somewhere else. I guess that is what you people are talking about.
