Hi everyone! first i want to say i like GOG.com a LOT !!!

Because for me its gaming perfected - games has no DRM, even on DRM-free on steam some still require valveworks
I know GOG doesnt want to be Steam competitor but in a good way this will cut off Steam's Monopoly once and for all

-all games here are perfected in a easy user experince
-PRICES are very affordables to anyone, not to mention during SALES
-community is great
-some of games are like digital collectors edition
-no need for extra patches to find, all in one "good old install"
-ost even in flac format which i know many people are really ocd about that but hey its better than mp3

Pls GOG make it happen hit the 3000 games mark in your catalog and demolish Steam i know only you could
GOG Galaxy seams a lot cleaner and more fresh even in Beta stages than the Steam Menu
Can't wait to see GOG's Achivements menu :P

With the Witcher 3 HYPE many people will visit your site - some dont even know about this site :(
I know developers have to rennounce the DRM when they sign the contract with you
Some dont want because they follow others devs ideeas i really think they are close minded and follow the herd

>for this to happen we need yes i agree first the big AAA titles
>but lets not forget about indie ones ex Super Meat Boy - though as nails but rewarding old school feeling

DRM even affects FPS in some games and bloats your hdd with extra checkups...

All you Gogers out here what you think of my vision? :)
Rate my post if you like it ! ;) :D

You don't want to know what I think, but hey.. welcome.
Welcome to gog.com. I hope you enjoy your stay at gog.com and purchase PC versions of video games sold on gog.com from now on instead of Steam.

For 2015 gog.com got 7 AAA video games released for sale.

Lichdom: Battlemage, Darksiders, Darksiders II, Saints Row 2, Saints Row: The Third, Metro: Last Light Redux, and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

Well I wouldn't call Lichdom a AAA title and except for W3 all the other ones dropped an A in their old age.
That is incorrect, everyone knows Steam will be killed by Predators with those red laser beam things on their shoulders.

I say Lichdom: Battlemage is a AAA video game because it was developed using CryEngine, which is a AAA video game engine.

A lot of games are developed on Unreal Engine. That doesn't make them AAA titles. Of course there's no true definition but generally funded by a AAA publisher or having a huge budget to work on is an indicator, not using one of the same tools some AAA devs use.

On the other hand, Umbra seems very much to be an indie title, "despite" using CryEngine 3.

gameplay & story side are the most important factors, graphics its only a plus
most AAA lack that old school feeling for me i dont know why - they seem hollow

I know Lichdom: Battlemage and Umbra are not AAA video games, but I will refer to them as AAA video games for using a AAA video game engine. Problem?

AAA titles or whatever you want to call it its really only a market gimmick thing (they are promoted to gamers like must-haves)
i read somewhere that it will take a long time for games to have good stories like movies
even the top games have stories comparable to B movies

Kind of, anyone can license an engine. Unreal Engine 4 is a "AAA" engine. Indies can still license and use it.
