Would you kindly (bioshock voice) pls vote my post? :)

Downrep someone if you must -- though I don't think this person really warrants it (so far) -- but please don't abuse the spam feature (assuming you were serious, and not just trying to make a point or something). It's the abuse of systems like that that could eventually lead to the introduction of dedicated forum moderators, and the loss of some of the freedoms we've enjoyed here so far.
*theoretical asshole -- not you specifically ;)
Begging for rep is probably not going to win you any admirers. Try interacting with the community in a positive fashion -- posting constructively/entertainingly in various threads, answering questions, maybe once in a while dropping a spare gift code on somebody (though not everyone can afford to do that, of course). Before you know it, you'll have a small but respectable rep.
...However, as amok mentioned, rep here is rather pointless. As long as you have enough so you can post links (and no more than 10 rep is required for that), a higher rep conveys absolutely no benefits. There are regular forumites who are total assbags with reps in the high hundreds, and there are really nice people (or people who've been using GOG since the beginning) who have reps in the 30s or lower -- simply because they hardly ever post in the forums. Basically, be decent to people, try to be helpful, try to keep the fanboyishness in check :D , and don't get hung up on a largely meaningless number. =)
