Im suprised daggerfall is on it, since that game is freeware, and availeble on there official site. But on the other side maybe people want gog to bring out a fixed easier to run version the problem is since its freeware people would be complaining that they have to pay for it. But i would pay for a daggerfall that gog had fixed to run it on win 7.
Dune is not a strategy game, it's an adventure game from Cryo (and it's awesome).

The Strategy section is very strange: the first Age of Empires!? Age of Mythology? Dune (not even a strategy game )? Dune 2 (it would be a pain in the ass playing this game nowadays, it was just a prototype)?

Hey, Age of Mythology was awesome. The only Age of Blank game I got into (Age of Wonders doesn't count due to being entirely different).
Diablo & Diablo 2 are not RPG.

ISC: Diablo & Diablo 2 are not RPG.
They're classified as action RPGs, so technically, they are.
It's good to see all the Homeworld titles in the top 10 strategy list.

Dune was one of the most confusing ones for me since I did not play the game myself. On mobygames, wikipedia it is classified as Adventure/Strategy. So I would like to hear what people think. Is it more like an adventure or strategy game?

Well its adventure since you need to talk to people and do things. You need to dig for spice wich freeman do for you but you give commands by talking to the leaders of the freeman and say what you want them to do. You need to travel betwean settlements.

I finished it, it's an adventure game with small strategic part, but it's very far from strategy game.
I now classified Dune as Adventure. So we have a new strategy game on the list :)
added a new category Racing/Sports/Fighting but only put the top 5 since the demand is considerably lower
If GOG signs LucasArts, seems like half that list will disappear.

Monolith developed it, Fox interactive published it and I'm pretty sure they still hold at least some of the rights. Though IIRC,Sierra was also involved in some way, which could means those rights could be almost anywhere by now.
