Nope definitely not interested. Have to admit while there are a few amazing Indie games out there in general i kinda feel like the market is currently getting kinda overflooded with "pseudo hipster" indie games which drasticially differ in quality and content and uniqueness.
So ya i kinda fear that that bundle will used to unload games which usually don't sell that good and no need for me to get like my 7th average generic roguelike or a random 8bit graphic game every month - i rather buy the indie pearls my self when i feel like playing them.
Furthermore i also prefer real old games over pseudo retro and mid budget indie/KS games over "hipster" low budget Indie productions (a generalization here - i still might like some of the "hipster low budgets ones ^^")
Finally i sometimes feel a bit tired/bored/appalled about really only kinda average games getting "praise" bc there are indie - it's like okay it's only a semi decent game and has tons of flaws and is kinda unpolished but ya it's Indie so you gotta like it ^^ - it's just about the excess supply and dilution of the market - the 5th clone of a nice basic idea just doesn't feel as good as the first 2.
Humble Monthly is not yet available in your region. Please check back again soon!

Yet another store that doesn't want our money. Again.
I already subscribe to PS+, which is cheaper and tells you what are the next available titles.
Not even a hint? Not going to try it the first month. Also, I already have Grimrock 2, so I am definitely skipping it this time.
Not even considering until they address what happens when I own a game already in the bundle. At $12.00, I would expect all new (to me) games.

They also don't go into details about how many games you are getting. I see some are getting that from other sites. They need a much, MUCH more thorough FAQ when asking for money for a mystery product.

I'm guessing they will have an amazing first bundle, and then a very mediocre/poor one soon after.

Sony have been using the same tactic with PS+ of late. They know that most annual PS+ subscriptions are made at Christmas when the consoles are sold most, so they have an absolutely awesome December line-up for the Instant Game Collection and then fill up the rest of the year with shovelware. That's precisely why I'm letting my sub run out in December.

Either way, almost every "mystery product" offer of late has been a complete waste of time, including GOG's recent Indie Pinata offer. It was quite obviously a technique to drive sales of unpopular games, and in 90% of cases, this unpopularity is highly warranted. You might think judging by the way the hipster idiots spam forums that everyone likes these "artistic" indie games, but believe me - they are a distinct minority.

It's already bad enough for Gog to try and dumb uninteresting titles blindly now and then, but to willingly subscribe bag-o-crap monthly is just absurd idea.
I agree that I can see the first one being really good and then going downhill from there. I think if they stayed below $10 it might be more enticing. If each monththey are throwing out at least 1 newer release that retails for $30, then it's worth it. Time will tell.

Yes, I bought two after their initial claim was that they would not sell me something I already owned. After the second game was one I owned, I checked the forums to see that they adjusted their statement to then say that stock could run out and they could then sell me a game I already owned. Not fun in my book, and borderline false advertisement/misleading.
the bundle preorder is real.

Groupees is doing this for ages.
Well, this monthly bundle wouldn't sound interesting even if it didn't indicate that the games are mainly just for windows on steam. Why would one want to gamble with game purchases? Even if one gets lucky occasionally, any savings are going to be quickly eaten up when one doesn't.
you cannot play one game a month, also there are many games that we don't like... also 12 dollars for a game can be a lot for many games (it's not 1-2 dollars and we often pay less then 12 dollars for a games).

Catshade: I hope this new venture doesn't negatively affect the quality of their regular bundle at all...
Don't think so because in Europe a credit card is not used that much like it is in the US don't know how it is in Asia and Russia. Besides that you don't know what you get for your 12$ it can be complete "crap" in your eyes.

It's not $12 for one game, it's $12 for a bundle of 4-6 games. Still not worth the gamble in my eyes.
I think people should also consider this: yeah, they probably won't include titles already included in other HBs, but what about games sold in publisher's bundle?

Like the recent Devolver and Telltale bundles (more games you buy, much you spare).

So there's a good chance you will end with some spare keys, so...nope.

At least you should reveal one game included in the bundle. Plus reveals all titles one week before going online, and it's much cheaper (around 4€ each month).
Yes, it's a rant service, but it's also 1/3 of the Humble price.

I'm pretty sure the first bundle will be great, just to show players they should opt in this offers, anyway.
