Trooper1270: Not played them myself, and the reviews (at least on here, are not favourable), but the Agarest series has grid based tactics during battles...

I played a bit of Agarest 2, and it felt more action-oriented. Also the issues are mainly due to the company that ported the game being pro-censorship (and crippling at least one of the games due to that, but that also happened on Steam), and the games missing a lot of DLCs that were on the PS3 release (Steam is also missing some DLCs, but still less than GOG).
