Now this is what I love about older games:-

New Games sale = 500 games, tick "Hide DLC & extras" = drops to 300 games.

Old Game sale = 494 games, tick "Hide DLC & extras" = drops to only 485 games. ;-)

... and when I tick "Hide all owned products" it's the other way round.
Old games: 476 --> 226
New games: Hey the button doesn't seem to work because nothing changes?

Oh I definitely get that "problem" too. :-)

Why aren't Fallout 1&2 and Brotherhood of Steel marked as "owned" when I defintely do own them (I even checked to make sure they are still in my library)?

Do you have Fallout *Classic* and Fallout 2 *Classic* in your library, maybe?

Yeah... there's a difference? I mean, I don't see anything about the ones in store being some Special Edition.

I remember that they were removed from the store years ago... and then added back. But I don't know if there is any difference between the two, and I only have the "classic versions".

I see the same thing though it's probably a similar thing to when we got Arena & Daggerfall for free on condition of buying another Bethesda game, then when that was changed to "free anyway", some who previously claimed it found it disappeared from their accounts and had to reclaim it, ie, sometimes GOG has multiple "database flags" for the same games, and for whatever reason (like removing it from the store then readding it back again) the one in your account has an old flag and the one on sale has a different new one.

Edit: Search gogdb.org for "Fallout" and you'll see 2x separate Fallout's (1440166342 and 1440148836) and Fallout 2's (1440166436 and 1440151285).

There was a re-release in 2015: Re-release: Fallout Classics

Looks like some good (though presumably same ol') deals in general, but alas I want to buy specific Good Old(er) Games that aren't here yet. :( rip GOG

Yeah, I remember that, I just never realised before that the store "sees" them as two different things.

Yet another reason why an option to hide games in store would be useful.

That happened when Bethesda bought the Fallout IP from Interplay (the "classic" games got pulled from the store and later re-released as "normal", aka: "non-classic" editions).

Here's a blue explaining the apparent differences between the two versions (I only own the "Classic" versions , so I can't say, whether that has changed in the meantime):

Were the first versions the uncensored versions, and the second versions the censored versions?

Or alternatively, has GOG only ever sold the censored versions, and every version of those games on GOG has always been censored?
