Cavalary: Here you go. They contacted GOG about it years ago, but all GOG cares to do is tell users to use Galaxy to revert to the previous, working, version. Used to offer the older offline installer upon request, case by case, but word is that more recently they stopped doing that, just "advising" those who ask to use the "optional" client to make the game work.
Normally, since it's a known and important bug and only those who want the Chinese localisation would need the patch that introduces it, the offline installer should be the version without that patch, with that patch available separately, and then see how to work things out just with those who need it. But...
But why can't Larian do like all decent developers and release a patch that fixes the bug for all users? That solution isn't good for Chinese users, who have to choose between the translation and the bug.

It lookes like shapez is missig the Puzzle DLC on GOG.

Unless it's there and I can't find it. But I can't see it in the game description, and according to this thread, it's not there.

That's not surprising, when you investigate how that thing works. It's online only, you get an access key if you buy the DLC on Steam and then it connects via http to a central non-Steam server that provides the actual puzzles (including custom ones).

Ty, i correctly understood that we are talking about a problem with books? I have the latest version installed. I downloaded the save with maximum progress and the skill book shows the level 'master'. I'm sorry that the screenshot is in russian.

Not ideal to have to go to another website as GOG should be fixing their offline installers but the fix does work perfectly.
Heh, not just go to another site, but have an account there too... At the very least GOG could host that fix, but the issue isn't even mentioned under known ones in support...

Door Kickers is missing an update since November 26, 2021.
Reassembly is missing two updates starting June 24th, 2022.
My Time at Portia is missing an update since July 22, 2022.
Succubus is missing the Onoskelis DLC since September 8, 2022.

Too many responses, none of which I can I can entertain, individually (sorry.)

What it comes down to, is that life is short, and if you want to run around, feeling slighted, because what floats your little boat, isn't provided, then you will be unhappy.

No-one owes you anything, it either works for you, or it doesn't.

Do you actually think that someone singles you out, and provides less to you? If you do, you are very likely in error.

These are businesses, care about their customers, and only provide a product you can choose, or not. They couldn't give a shit less about you stamping your little feet, because the world didn't revolve around you.

As I said, grow up, and hope that you learn how to appreciate what is provided. c
