angelblue: Speaking of SEGA games. There's a game I'd love to see come to GOG. Surprisingly, I have the impression that a lot of people have forgotten it but GOG could make the request to SEGA to release the game "Comdemned criminal origin". As someone who really likes Monolith games, I'd be delighted. Maybe GOG could even release the 2? It was never released on PC, unfortunately. It would be a great exclusive for GOG if they manage to work on a PC version.
Actually that is not a question to SEGA, more so to Jace Hall, who was in charge of Monolith at one time and took the rights to Condemned with him when he quit the company -

That's some interesting read actually. So, basically guy acquired the rights hoping that other people will come to him to make prequels, sequels, spinoffs, mobile games, movies, books, comics and whatnot. I guess he overestimated and there weren't many offers after all, lol.

I've not forgotten it and I'd certainly be happy, too, if it came to GOG. That said, though...

I was unaware of this fact; unfortunately it seems to push further away the likelihood of a release on GOG... that's my impression, at least.

Another perhaps lesser-known game published by SEGA that I'd like so much to be available here is Universe at War: Earth Assault/ (currently it has "only" 1.087 votes on the wishlist).

I'd actually say the opposite - Jace Hall was open to develop the franchise, it just didn't happen. If he was willing to do that, I'd say that a re-release on a different store is fairly small in comparison. At least one would hope :)

That's of course regarding Condemned 1. Converting 2 would be quite a bit bigger project. If NightDive didn't have its hands full and wasn't bought by Atari, than I would be looking in their direction, but at this point that's not feasible in my eyes.

Regarding Alpha Protocol, I'm curious when it will show up. We're getting Phantom Liberty tomorrow and I'd find it odd if Gog were to release another big title so soon after that, but I believe Skyrim released Sept. 29, so maybe AP also release s on that date or next week ... ?

When You think about it, placing Alpha Protocol near Phantom Liberty is pretty fitting, since both dabble with the spy thriller (in AP even camp) genre, so it wouldn't be out of left field.

And besides - releasing titles right now, when the shop is getting a lot of traffic thanks to CP and PL is pretty sensible, as more people will be searching the store, so I'd say this is the most appropriate time because of exposure.

That's my theory, anyway.

AP is far from being a "big" title.
It doesn't did well on the marked and a comparable small group (me included) is strongly interested in it.
It won't cost much either.

To be honest, from marked volume and sale price the last Saint Rows would be the bigger thing.

Did I miss something? Is there something going on at the moment with the Saints Row games that I don't know about?

I guess I needed to say "imo". It's published by a "AAA" (though of course what counts as "AAA" is always debatable) company, SEGA; it's not on Steam anymore and will presumably be an exclusive on GOG for at least a number of months; and the most-voted wishlist entry has over 3,100 votes (the main thing I was going by), a fairly high number for the wishlist. https://www.gog.com/wishlist/games#search=alpha%20prot
Yeah, ok.
But I would say it is nowhere near Mad Max or these Lord of the Rings games we got in the past.
If Sega shows up with AP, it might open the door for older entries of the Total War series. And that would be a big thing.

Just that it was likely to show up here because of the publisher and 1 year Epic exclusivity that should end around now, but that it is more unlikely now because Volition has been killed.

Older Total War games are sort of a given, SEGA released thei new Yakuza game after all.
@Sega: Pls, give us "Aliens: Colonial Marines" 8o}

Exclusivity for the SR reboot ended roughly a month ago and it's been released on the hot water platform since then. Obviously didn't do that well there, since Volition got canned wholesale weeks later.

Volition going makes a release here a bit less likely, but there are plenty of examples of games released here where the dev no longer exists. If a release here were planned from the outset I'd say it was likely the GOG version is done already and just waiting on Nordic/ THQ/ Embracer/ Derp Silver's servers. It also didn't have potential red flags like significant steamworks integration, since it was an EGS game.

Regarding a question on bringing Black Finger JET to GOG, the developers mentioned that they are interested in releasing the game on other platforms.
