Bookwyrm627: Vouch. I just saw he replied to me about needing a break as well.
avatar
HypersomniacLive: Vouch?! So, you expect us to trust you?!
Not expect, but certainly hope. Harder to backstab someone that is watching you with suspicion.

At least you're honest... I think. Cheers.

And my Master Plan moves one step closer to completion. >=D
By the way where did bler go? He never came back after the game finished.

I've wondered about him too, pinged him a couple of days ago, but haven't heard from him.
With people abandoning ship one after the other, is it time to worry that we're doing something wrong?

It's a little disconcerting. If you read our scum chat though, bler didn't seem to want to play anymore. I think he felt forced into this game, and then got more and more frustrated. :/

Good question, I count up to five: Bluemooner, CarrionCrow, Crewdroog, and now yogsloth and bler. You could probably also count RW, who almost rage quit the last one. Not a good record.
avatar
Leonard03: Crewdroog
She abandoned two games. From what I hear it was because of rl issues. If anything, I don't think the game is the problem in her case.
avatar
Leonard03: Bluemooner
I don't remember why he left.

avatar
Leonard03: CarrionCrow
Carrion wasn't a fan of the game, I think it's more of a technical problem in this case.

avatar
Leonard03: yogsloth
There's a difference between leaving and needing a break.

No comment about the rest. I don't care that much to make one.

Leonard03:
I do this a lot - it helps keep the game "fresh" for me. You'll notice I'll sit a few then play a couple. Plus, I tend to spend a lot of my forum time with the game when I'm in it, so I like to take a break if only to wander other areas here. And it's nice because new people rotate in - I feel like every time I jump in a game, there are new people who were lured in by the antics in these ;)

And good to hear yogs is around and about!
Could be that more are related to real life issues.

Also, to round things out Bonus #18!
I decided to use the scanner sitting beside my computer for this one. Turned out a lot better than the terrible photos.

Heh.
First time logging in in 48+ hours. RL has been crazy, between still being sick, getting home after 11 days away to find a dead fridge, family and job stuff. Have a job interview lined up for next week (in Seattle - hi Bude!) and trying to get another application out the door today/tomorrow.

So I'm fine, just busy.

Most of my table flipping was show (and hinted at the night before in scum chat) though I really didn't appreciate Hijack's "scummity scum scum" finger pointing. I knew he had the muscle to back it up, but as a play it was lazy and annoying, and I was speaking the truth about not enjoying that aspect of playing with him.

We all play within some sort of meta, and it is a bit annoying to me that certain people just get passes. But c'est la vie. On the bright side, I don't have to eat my hat.

I did think drealmer played a good defensive game - I didn't figure out he was scum til pretty late, though I did think he misplayed by the end coming at me at all. There wasn't going to be any way for that to play out well unless he was on the big squad. Should've piled on Wyrm's suggestion of no-lynch out of the gate and tried to rely on night action to even the odds, but hey, I was right that lynching me would hand Hijack the game.

Will try and catch up and will respond to PMs later. Big meeting with my boss in 10 min.

Glad to hear you're doing fine. I think you also played very well, up until the last day or so.

Good luck with life!

Glad to see you back!

Fingers crossed for the job interview, and perhaps you'll get a chance to meet Elvis.

Thanks. The lying really wore on me (even impacted my sleep a few nights), but I think it was mostly that RL just got hairy. I was definitely ready to be done.

Thanks - the big concern is that I'm not wholly convinced my spouse/daughter would end up moving up to Seattle. The money really isn't all that much better - something of a wash with the higher housing costs, though really not that much more expensive than Portland these days.

But on paper, I love the job. The other job I'm applying for is here in OR- don't really know the job is a good fit for the long term, but it would make the family stuff work much better.
