Instead of all those useful links that probably almost no one used, there's now a "Try GOG Galaxy" button... thoughts?

There aren't enough four letter words to express how fucking annoying that thing is. :D
If they are going to promote the shit out of the client, isn't it better if they put it in a place where it can be instantly seen upon loading the website? Like how Steam is doing it? Burying it in the footer of the site isn't a particularly great idea.

footer::after {
content: none !important;
}
.footer-microservice-download {
display: none !important;
}
.footer-microservice-language__item.is-selected,
.footer-microservice-currency__item.selected {
color: #ccc !important;
}
I'm a killer of purple.

They've added a "Download GOG Galaxy" button on every page of the website. They also added a couple of links (GOG Connect, for example) and made some changes to the UI.

Ps: added a screenshot

It's rather ugly. Besides that I don't care.
On literally every page other than the community pages they are using color: white for the footer stuff, but on the forum pages, etc. this is being overridden with color: inherit which is making it appear darker. Not sure if it's intentional, but it's looks off.
I like it, I think.

Makes no difference to any of us. Either you use Galaxy or you don't. Don't see what difference this new button does. No doubt there will be some cry baby going on about it.
I'm against it, I don't want or need Gog Galaxy.

oo, GOG connect is in the bar above the footer thing at least. Last time I looked a week ago or so I personally had no clue how to discover that feature if it was't a sale promotion, I didn't see it there at least
