It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

R-U-N: However, if they do decide to remove it permanently from the launcher then I think that it spells the end of the gog forums. The traffic already isn't much and if you are going to hide the forums away through web browser access only that will thin out the community into dedicated and OG members, and eventually they'll probably just ditch it out completely.

Even now I go to posts and mostly its the same people posting most of the responses. If you are right and they are ditching it out, then I don't think the forums will last much, either by being ditched or simply become inactive.

That's my view anyway
In my experience, many of the people that have posted here through the Galaxy client were expecting some community help desk, not interested at all in communicating with other people (isn't that what's a forum is for?).

Not enough people kills a forum - the opposite does the same! The latter is of course just my opinion - if a forum turns into 'social media' - it becomes something else.

Steam does suffer from that - for example on the Halo MCC forum everyday you have people just writing insults as if 343 will ever read any of those, or the classic REP 4 REP spam on the general forums.

If removing it from the launcher filters that out, then I'm all up for using brower only. Let's hope it becomes reality.
For PC:
You should be able to run GOG games from their directory on your drive.

Right click on game.
Manage installation.
Show folder.

And it'll go to that game.

Some like Witcher 3 are a bit tricky.

To get to witcher3.exe on mine its

Drive letter :\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt GOTY\bin\x64

Where SkyrimSELauncher.exe is in.

Drive letter :\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\Skyrim Anniversary Edition

Just find the right exe file and run it.

On a normal system it'd be "C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\ "Name of game directory/folder"

I've got games on several drives directories/folder.

No need to run GOG at all.

Cheers Bob.
