I see. Well, it's not showing for me, so I guess I was blocked for voicing my dissatisfaction. I don't appreciate being e-mailed to download porn games and not having the option to opt out without foregoing deals. They can do one.

I'll just download the original games I opted to get on GOG instead of Steam, on Steam, and just continue to build my library elsewhere.

Thanks for the replies and the assistance.

If ever you suspect you're being blocked on one of these platforms, log out and try to open their page. It will open if you're not logged in.

Good idea. I should have thought of that.

I've been blocked from the page it seems. I think this was perhaps from a complaint before about Waifu games sent in a prior e-mail. I probably called folks simps or pathetic and got a ban for that. Oh well. Snowflake city n' all. CDPR no different from all of the other companies and their PR teams have no backbone or interpersonal skills. It's not a big deal anyway as it's just shitty Facebook, but I was just curious is all. That said, I'll just stick with Steam anyway because I don't like flakiness of the handling of criticism and the lack of simp filters for e-mail and in store. It's a real shame there's no reverse GOG Connect.

You toss out insults at people for liking things you don't like, and then complain that other people don't have interpersonal skills. I think I'm beginning to see the problem here, honestly. I don't like porn games either. I don't insult the people who do, though.

Well, that's because I don't care. The other is someone working in a PR job. And I'd hardly call them insults. Where genres are concerned most games are fine but if you're making porn "games", that's not a game, that's porn masquerading as a game so you can get randy over it.

I refer to games like that and I think it's uber creepy and sad that people play those things. If they're insulted by me calling them simp games and that I think it is pathetic then that's up to them to deal with.

And I'm sure you don't play them.

This thread has run it's course.

Thanks to all of those who contributed.

You insulted customers who like adult themed games by saying
"to receive normal-person ones?" (implying adult games customers aren't normal)
That has nothing to do with PR. You could have said "normal" ones but you said "normal-person" ones.

Funny how some people are stating subjective opinions as facts. But let's for a moment assume that you are right. Why aren't those people that just want to get randy not just using google, search for some true porn and be done with it? You can even get it for free. If you have figured this out you might understand why these are games as well.

Does not make it less insulting that you don't care. It just shows that you simply don't accept what you don't understand.

I play them - not ll of them but some of them. I also play the Witcher and Metro and Catie in MeowMeowland ... so what? Oh .. I also have watched Texas Chainsaw Mssacre and other movies like it in case you should need more fuel for your unbased prejudices.

In your OP you implied that GOG customers who like AO games are "simps," which is a very insulting term. And you also reiterated that statement in your subsequent posts in this thread too.

And, as others have pointed out, in your OP here, you are also implicitly calling people who like AO games "abnormal," which is also very insulting to those people.

If you posted anything like that on GOG's FB page, then they might have blocked you not for "voicing your dissatisfaction," as you say, but rather, for insulting their customers.

Or maybe you were swearing on their FB page too and/or other things like that (just like you are also swearing in your OP here).

But we wouldn't know what happened, because you didn't provide us with a verbatim quotation of what, exactly, you said in your post(s) on GOG's FB page. Your OP seems to give a pretty good indication of what your posts there might have been like though.
