Or was I blocked for criticising GOG for advertising and e-mailing me about adult-themed simp games that I have absolutely no interest in?

What I wanted to know was, is there a way to disable e-mails from GOG that advertise dumb shit like porn-type games, while still being opted in to receive normal-person ones?

Cheers.

It's still up here for me, try accessing it in private mode:
https://www.facebook.com/gogcom

But, I have seen them blocking people on Twitter, so it's possible that's what happened. I think that's poor practice, it would be better for them to just not engage such posts at all than to block customers from viewing future advertising content. But I agree with you, newsletter emails with adult-themed games should be subject to a separate opt-in.

I see. Well, it's not showing for me, so I guess I was blocked for voicing my dissatisfaction. I don't appreciate being e-mailed to download porn games and not having the option to opt out without foregoing deals. They can do one.

I'll just download the original games I opted to get on GOG instead of Steam, on Steam, and just continue to build my library elsewhere.

Thanks for the replies and the assistance.

Ya because Steam doesn't have any NSFW games at all..... except they do.... and I mean a lot...... to the point where they can flood out other games on the main page release and specials section.......

Ah see, but where you immediately came in all flustered and sarcastic like, defending valiant GOG, by frantically pointing at me going "OOOH, OOOH, OOHHHH, but STEEEAAAMMMM has porn gamesss!, I don't get deals through e-mail via Steam, I get them direct from the platform. Second of all... I can opt out of all of those sultry, simp, pathetic games and never see them again - where's the option from GOG? Oh wait, there isn't. I can also post about it on the Steam forum and not be blocked for it.

For the record:

- Not Defending Gog, just pointing out the irony to abandon one store because of NSFW games to go to another store that has way more NFSW games.

-I have tried the Steam filter but it didn't work very well on my side.

If you are happy going to another store that is totally in your right to do so, have fun.

Even if the GOG facebook page vanished, that'd only be a gain
I'm pretty sure the support bot is the proper channel to provide feedback
Maybe GOG saw the writing on the wall that Facebook is a dying website and saw fit to jump from the sinking ship.

Agree. Can just mute people also.

Idk you might have been blocked... but what is the best thing to do it just to stop using facebook.

(as I say while I use facebook related sites often...)
I mean, I can still see the page and I'm not even logged in.

Like SCPM suggested: try the page with private mode (ie try the site without logging in). If you can see it then, then you're probably blocked. If you still cannot, then it might be a local caching problem, maybe? I dunno, I'm not completely knowledgeable with modern web servers.

I think I'm pretty normal.

And no, sadly there's no option to disable mails about hidden objects and JRPGs.

Good idea. I should have thought of that.

I've been blocked from the page it seems. I think this was perhaps from a complaint before about Waifu games sent in a prior e-mail. I probably called folks simps or pathetic and got a ban for that. Oh well. Snowflake city n' all. CDPR no different from all of the other companies and their PR teams have no backbone or interpersonal skills. It's not a big deal anyway as it's just shitty Facebook, but I was just curious is all. That said, I'll just stick with Steam anyway because I don't like flakiness of the handling of criticism and the lack of simp filters for e-mail and in store. It's a real shame there's no reverse GOG Connect.
