I genuinely opened this thread expecting that Geralt_PL had changed his name again and that this would be "I've found this great song that nobody has head of by this little known band called the Beatles - you should hear it because it's great".
I was pleasantly surprised.

I imagine a couple of the tracks in my mixtape are mainstream... (Surely everyone here has heard of Queen), but on the other hand, I have tracker artists and Harmonia in there too.

I could mention the 2nd movement of Beethoven's 7th Symphony. Yes, it's Beethoven, but it's not the sort of piece that people unfamiliar with classical music will know about. ("Everyone" knows about the 5th symphony and perhaps about the 9th, particularly the finales of both and the first movement of the 5th (the first 4 notes of that symphony became *very* famous), but here we're looking at a different Beethoven symphony, and a movement that isn't the first or last.)
There's other examples in classical music, including pieces be less famous composers that are nonetheless good. Or other lesser known works by well known composers, like pieces by Sousa that aren't marches.

England Dan & John Ford Coley made a great song called "Holocaust" which i feel like faded into obscurity over time.

Ave Maria from the Hitman film ost. I figure that seems both game related and a great version of the song.

Many indie games have songs that could qualify.
For example:
* In False Skies, the new town music that starts appearing past a certain point of no return,as well as much of the other music at that stage of the game (like the music for that one desert town/dungeon), is quite nice.
* Stair Quest has some nice 8-bit music. (Actually quite good, seeing as that game is basically a joke game.)
* While it's before "indy" was a thing, the game Action 52 contains a sub-game called Cheetahmen, which has a rather catchy tune. When it works, that is. (Notably, once the tune repeats, the melody drops out entirely.) This song also famously appeared in the troll game Syobon Action, though unfortunately only in an abridged form.

Probably referring to an international audience, especially being in Turkish, so assume very few of those views aren't from Turks. Though otherwise the singer may be familiar for plenty.
But let's see how I can stay on topic with one with few views... How about Downcast Art - Forbidden Memories?

I can't really describe what Distant Dream's music does to me. It speaks to me in ways that not even music with relatable lyrics does. Their melodies are gorgeous, their sonic storytelling impeccable, the atmospheric backgrounds touching emotions in ways that I just can't explain.
This song, for example, does a great job of musically communicating its song title. It feels like the internal sounds of someone setting out in a new direction in life as their excitement, fears, curiosity and determination collide.
One of the best bands I know of, no joke.
