gog2002x: I still keep all my old drivers, so that may still be an option. But the V-Sync option that Dark_art_ mentioned might be the most simple option for this instance. I'll check tonight.

Thank you for everything though and I think you're about the NVidia options.

I think I was able to do it in the past since I only used Win7 for games prior to 2023 (now I use Win10 for some Origin and Steam games from Humble Choice. Had no options lol). Not sure why they would take away the option in 472.12 version or whenever they did it after your version.
.
V-sync is only useful if you have a monitor with a refresh rate not higher than the rate you want to cap the game to. Also v-sync can force input lag. Just capping the frame rate would be the better way - if possible.

I meant that it is available SINCE this version and so it should be available in your version as well. I really don't see the reason why they should not have included it in the win7 version if the feature is that old. I really doubt they would remove it.

Yeah, you're right, it would be wierd if they removed it. Not sure why I didn't see it there.

I got a 144hz monitor, but it's set to 60 at the resolution setting. If I'm reading what you're saying correctly, then I guess maybe V-Sync won't work for me?

I actually haven't been able to play games the last few days, though hoping to login to my gaming ssd tomorrow. Maybe at least to test it out, if nothing else. I'll update as soon as I can.

Thanks to your continued replies, I came to realize the driver wasn't updated. Seems I had the 472.12 file, but never actually used it lol. Now I do indeed have the slider to adjust the max fps.

Thanks again MarkoH01, you're a life saver! And thank you also Dark_art_ for the suggestions, it may come in handy for other games.

Great to hear that. Enjoy this great game ... now (hopefully) much more silent :)

Hi MarkoH01,

Sorry to bother you, but I was hoping you could help me with one more thing, since it seems like you already played the game once.

I am currently stuck in the room where you get the Earth element. I tried to go back up the entrance ledge using an Earth potion and the earth pillar does go up. Problem is, it doesn't go all the way even with the ledge and I can't find any other means to raise it up the remaining distance.

Is the pillar bugged for that spot or am I just overlooking something simple?

There's also a bar type gate, but doing an internet search tells me that the solution to that is outside the room I believe. I didn't read it too much to avoid spoilers.

Any help would be appreciated. I spent way too much time trying to figure it out and would hate to start over just for that. But if it's a bug, I have no choice I suppose.

I did open a new thread, but I think it's likely to get buried, since it's already 12+ hours old.
.
Edit:
You can reply to that post instead of this one if you'd like. That way I can mark your answer as the solution again. It's probably 2 or 3 pages back by now, depending on your settings.
