I've just released an update for Game Backup Monitor due to the recent exploit found in 7-Zip.

It's extremely unlikely GBM would be used to trigger that exploit, but better to be safe.

Linux users don't need this update, just update your p7zip package when it's released.
There's been a few new releases since I've posted an update here. If you're using an older version you may be interested in some of the new features. Check out the releases link if you're interested, or the web site link for other information.

Very cool
You are the man MikeMaximus. Was using "gamestow" for this but since they are closing down, I'll try your app. Thanks for the effort!

NO! No (shIt-cloud) in GOG, keep the steam-devils out!

Unless it is totally optional. Then, please, by all means, implement it! Both sides should always be happy and catered to; never one on the expense of the other one.

Hey MikeMaximus, just wanted to say thanks for this utility. It's exactly what I was looking for for Metro Exodus and I'm really impressed with it!

PS: Sorry for necroposting, but I couldn't find another way to reach out and I really wanted to say thank you.

Awesome, glad to hear it.

I still actively work on GBM, but stopped posting here regularly. If anyone is interested, check out the version history for features you may have been waiting for.
MikeMaximus, thanks for very useful program! For now just quickly tested it with few old console emulators' mem.card and savestate folders, but already can say that GBM would save me many time and nerves when I configure it fully.

P.S.: And now I'm curious about how much other interesting stuff is hidden in old topics)

P.P.S.: Sorry for bad english
Hi MikeMaximus,
I always use your tool.
I don't know if this is the right place but I have a future request.
When I close a game I would like the GBM window to be in the foreground of Windows (after the game is closed of course).

Thank you
