Such an awesome game. I had the diskette version, so the cutscenes were just slideshows. It was tough, but it felt awesome to just rip around, running over people and blowing up other cars, and it oozed atmosphere.
A game with its own unique atmosphere of cyberpunk madness Back then, the gameplay with a customizable taxi car and the ability to drive around a fantastic city was really cool.

This was one of the first games we got for our PC back when i was in 7th or 8th grade. Both me and my little sister really enjoyed it though neither of us were all that great at it. Thinking back it kinda felt like an early GTA and Crazy Taxi mashup.

This was the first game my super 386SX-Turbo PC (with 16 MegHz max !) wasn't capable of showing me more than a dia-show (lol) - but those cutscene-vids were hilarious, back then ! :)

You could put your own music cd in the drive and listen while you played. changing tracks in game and everything. I used to listen to Green Day's Dookie on repeat.

I found this in the discount bin and honestly it was the cover art that sold me. Oh boy, I did not expect what I got. Great music, great gameplay, murderous motorised mayhem before that sort of thing was made commonplace. It made having a CD-ROM drive feel worth the cost.
Подобный жанр вообще редкий. НО! Карантин самый яркий представитель. Игра очень интересная, необычная, мясная и жирная))) Играл в нее еще в 90-е в детстве. ХОЧУ версию GOG! )))

Turok
TurokTurok is a first-person shooter developed by Propaganda Games, and published by Touchstone Games and Disney Interactive Studios, originally for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in February 2008. It was later ported on to Microsoft Windows in April 2008. A sequel was planned and developed for the Xbox 360 but it was cancelled before it was even officially announced. The game is loosely based on the comic book series of the same title and is unrelated to the story and setting of previous Turok video games. Players assume the role of Native American space marine Joseph Turok, who is part of a team sent to a remote planet to apprehend his previous commanding officer, General Roland Kane, now a wanted war criminal. After crash landing, Turok discovers this planet is home to all manner of dinosaurs, and must fight both the predatory creatures and Kane's private army on his mission to take down his former mentor.

The 3rd Birthday
The 3rd BirthdayThe game is an action role-playing game described by Square Enix as a "cinematic action RPG". Director Hajime Tabata noted that the gameplay and plot are intertwined due to a newly introduced ability called "Overdive," an ability that lets the player switch bodies with one of their team members, allowing them to control friendly NPCs. Teammates can be ordered either to target specific enemies or to defend themselves in combat. The player is able change their controlled character in real-time, intermixed with their combat actions. The game is played over-the-shoulder, comparable to games such as Resident Evil 4, Dead Space and the Mass Effect series. An array of different costumes will be available for Aya to choose from throughout the game, but only after they are unlocked by completing the game in various difficulty modes. Clothing in the game deteriorates due to battle damage, revealing Aya's skin to various degrees.
