Sure it's technically an GTA clone. At the same time it does enough to stand out from the rest of them. I always been an huge Simpsons fan. Of course I once had this Simpsons game. Some even consider it the Greatest Simpsons game ever!!! This game is a huge love letter to the show. So many references you don't know where to begin. So packed with content to keep you busy for hours. Easily one of the greatest licensed games on a cartoon show I ever played!!!

Out of all GTA clones who would have thought the Simpsons would have made one of the best? The Simpsons hit and run is one of the few stand out licensed games of the 6th generation of video games. As a young fella I played the game on the PS2 and even got a fun branded hat with it! I played through the whole game twice. The mission design and trademark Simpsons humor made it a fun and memorable experience.

A very well made game with love for the series that I used to watch for hours with my family. Now about the game, I want to have it forever in this store when I bought it. My favorite memory of this one was the cinematics and how everything matched the world of the Simpsons, it made me feel like I was in the series for many moments.
A classic of the ages, I use to play this all the time on my uncles OG Xbox when I was a kid, it would be amazing to have this game on gog so that people don't have to set up that old abandonware version.

CHILDHOOD CLASSIC. I had this bad boy back in the on PS2. Never beat it at the time of writing but I did honestly have loads of fun just roaming about the first level as Homer in his Underwear... Good Times... Good Times...

I'm not the biggest Simpsons fan, but my god this game is great & needs a remaster so bad, even if it's just tone down GTA (without the killing) & driving around Springfield is always fun as some of the family members is fun.

The greatest rival of GTA must return! :D The game was great and fun when I played it as a kid. It would be nice to be able to dive into nostalgia again. If you don't have a DVD, you can't play it - so GOG please! :)

I remember playing this on the GameCube back in the day. Yeah, it was pretty much GTA with a Simpsons skin, but the gameplay was still pretty fun. And they did a really good job with all the Simpsons stuff. I would be absolutely stoked to play this on modern systems.

Ristar
RistarRistar is a platform game developed and published by Sega for the Sega Genesis in 1995. A Sega Game Gear game, of the same name and genre, Ristar, was also released, which shared similar themes while possessing different level design and gameplay mechanics. The game stars an anthropomorphic cartoon star who uses his hands and long, stretchable arms to both move and combat enemies. Reception for the game has been generally positive, but the game's initial release was overshadowed due to the imminent ending of the Genesis's lifecycle and the succession of the Sega Saturn and other fifth generation video game consoles. While never receiving any sequels, Sega has re-released the game a number of times digitally and on Sega-themed compilations, and has occasionally given Ristar himself cameos in other Sega properties.
