The one and only GTA for me. I loved everything about it. It is a work of art. The love for details: the different driving behaviour of every vehicle, the soundeffects, the music, the voiceover when saving! The only downside was the size of my screen back then. Racing down a street with one eye on the screen an one on the paper map next to my screen to find the fastest way out of a gang's district felt like actually driving with only half my attention on the street. Adrenaline garanteed!

This game and the first ones must be preserved at all costs, I have so much memories on the two first GTAs with my brothers and my friends. Sadly today everyone only talks about the 3D titles but this for me is the real nature of GTA. The missions were silly, fun and memorable. Everyone who played that game back then remember the Russian mafia mission where you need to drive a bus around the city (I won't spoil the end of the mission). I had loved the first one so much and this one improved on so many levels, with the reputation system and the crazy guns, this was awesome ! "And remember, respect is everything !"
grałem tą część po polsku na kompie z windows 98 i XP a chciałbym żeby była wydana po polsku ta część gry bo już sama grafika i muzyka jest ciekawe w niej gra się fajnie i rozumie misje całkiem .

I had played this game on PC when I was a kid. I loved it. That's how I got to know the GTA license. To be able to play this game through GoG would be really great!
~taxi drivers must dieeeee~ vs. ~another soul saved~ vs. ~chocolate sensation~.... unforgetttable If you guys ever release it, please, please, pretty please, make sure it comes with original "radio" soundtracks. Even if it means paying a bit more. It adds sooo much more to that crazy atmosphere.
I've never played this game before and would love to be able to. History should be preserved, and I would finally love a way to actually play the second game in this historical franchise.

Oh, I remember playing this gem on PS1 with a friend of mine, it was so fun and still are. For me GTA2 is on my personal top 3 best GTAs ever. Not to mention that it have the chillest menu track of all!
I'm pretty sure I remember how fun this was at the time, it was a big thing. Obviously, it's different to the Gta we know today, but it lay the foundations, along with the first GTA... This was practically a game changer. Some elderly people at the time argued and made a fuss about how "inappropriate" and "violent" this game was. "Kids can't play it" blah blah. I could of sworn at the time it reminded me muchly of stories my parents told me of how people use to break vinyl albums when they had any relation with "the devil" or something like that. For the amount of limitations a bird eyes view had, Gta 2 had a tonne of features. It was genuinely refreshing and fun. It's funny how much the newer gtas outweigh that now and can even be called lame to some now. I call it still a fun classic that brings me back to memories of hideously slow dial-up internet and my simpler tech times before apple shoved it's face into everything
Why Grand Theft Auto 2 Needs to Be on GOG with Controller Support Grand Theft Auto 2 took everything from the original and made it bigger, faster, and even more chaotic. Set in a futuristic city filled with rival gangs, unique missions, and that classic top-down mayhem, GTA 2 still holds a special place in gaming history. But today, it’s hard to play without workarounds—and the controls haven’t aged well. That’s why it should be re-released on GOG, with full controller support and modern compatibility. GOG is the ideal platform for restoring retro classics like this—DRM-free, easy to install, and preserved for future generations. With controller support added, it would feel smoother and more natural for modern gamers used to analog sticks and triggers. Let’s bring this cult classic back the right way—clean, playable, and as fun as ever. GTA 2 deserves a home on GOG—with controller support included.

Conker's Bad Fur Day
Conker's Bad Fur DayHumorous action-platformer that does away with the tedious item collection found in most games in the genre. Instead, BFD employs a combination of standard jump, run and explore mechanics and context-sensitive gags and actions. For instance, in the beginning of the game, by pressing the B button on the first pad he encounters, Conker drinks some Alka-Seltzer to wipe out his hangover, at which point players can proceed forward. Later on these pads are used to activate a slingshot and throwing knives; to turn Conker into an anvil and drop downward; to shoot automatic, double-handed guns; to activate a The Matrix-inspired slow-motion effect and flip through the air shooting enemies; and much, much more.

Resident Evil Survivor
Resident Evil SurvivorResident Evil Survivor is the first Resident Evil title to be rendered in real time as opposed to making use of pre-rendered backdrops. Levels are explored in first person, and when enemies are encountered the press of a button will bring up a targeting reticle for shooting. As with most light-gun games there is infinite pistol ammunition available, but limited ammunition for more powerful weapons. At the end of each level two doors are presented which both lead to different levels, although all paths eventually lead to the same ending.

Freelancer
FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.

Hard Truck: Road to Victory
Hard Truck: Road to VictoryYou can choose to race with other tracks in two or three simple tracks, and there is a mode where you can just drive a truck to deliver cargo to your designated location. The second mode might be bit boring, since you do nothing but drive a truck and do nothing more, but it's worth it for two reasons - primarily the extremely beautiful landscape you drive through. It is designed with the utmost care and detail and you can really feel like you're really there. And secondly, the game simulates the job of a truck driver pretty accurately. While driving, you get to experience what a real truck driver feels and does on the road. Now, multiply that by a 1000 miles. But mostly, this is a truck racing game. You can change the view from behind the wheel to outside of the truck, whatever you like. There is also a good rearview mirror that helps you while driving. Overall, this is a fantastic truck simulation and racing game and you should try this one and the games sequels, Hard Truck 2 and the rest of the game's series.

Resident Evil: Dead Aim
Resident Evil: Dead AimResident Evil: Dead Aim is a survival-horror game released exclusively for the PlayStation 2 under the Gun Survivor title, which was used for several games made for the Namco light gun controllers. The game is played in two camera angles: the player moves from a third-person perspective while walking, which changes to a first-person perspective while aiming the gun. You'll pick up several guns through the course of the game, including a magnum, a shotgun, and an assault rifle. But like in other Resident Evil games, zombies are difficult to put down permanently and ammo can be very scarce.
