This is one of most creative puzzle games that have existed 'till nowadays. This game was created and developed by the creator of Tetris, Alexey Pajitnov, and I'm waiting for a great remaster for this game.

I think this is owned by Micros*ft so chance of this appearing here are almost nonexistent. Still this is one of the best puzzle game on PC from that era and I would love to play it again. Very good audio visuals too.

It was the pinnacle of casual gaming at the time and still a worthy one in 2025. Sure, the graphics are nowhere near the now-standard 1080p, let alone higher ones (or even widescreen). But still, the game is a fine blend of simple jigsaw puzzle-solving and a "story mode", where you roam from a city to city, looking for legendary tricksters and their puzzle pieces. The main content - puzzles - are works of art in terms of painting, photography, sculptures or pottery, always inspiring to discover more about various parts of our world. The overall setting, the ambient soundtrack, even the stylish GUI all make this game feel like a journey. Who doesn't love journeys?

Takt of Magic
Takt of MagicTakt of Magic is a Wii video game by Nintendo released in 2009 in Japan. The game has yet to be announced elsewhere in the world. The game is a spiritual successor to Lost Magic on the Nintendo DS, and has similar gameplay, though is not a sequel. In the game the player will use the Wii Remote to cast spells by drawing a certain pattern. In all there are over 100 spells that you can execute. As in most games of this type (such as Lost Magic and Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings), you'll be given a map of the overworld before each battle so you can make a plan. Once you enter a battle, you'll be able to choose four characters to fight alongside your main character. The status of your partner is indicated by their icon's facial expression.
