i think it should be perserved since even the developers themselves dont seem to want to perserve their own games anymore, buying a game should give you complete control over the copy of your product, and let you play even 50 years in the future
Dito, I am so sick of the the the big companies trying to tell customers they don't own what they pay for anymore yet that is what it mean when you purchase a product. Despite what there anti consumer privacy polices say. If we don't own what we pay for in games then we won't pay full price. I don't on console, I wait for deep sales for any exclusives.
With the Xbox version of this game being a 50MB license file, this game will disappear from existence if the servers go down. It only makes sense to preserve it here so the game exists in the distant future.

Cotton: Fantastic Night DreamsCotton: Fantastic Night Dreams is a scrolling shooter arcade game, released on Sega's Sega System 16B Arcade system board in 1989. It is the first in the Cotton series of videogames.
It was ported to both the Sharp X68000 and the NEC TurboGrafx-CD in 1993. The TurboGrafx-CD version was released on Super CD-ROM and features an enhanced redbook audio soundtrack and voice acting on the Japanese release. The game was later ported to Sony PlayStation under the title Cotton Original in 1999. The PlayStation release combines the enhanced digital CD-ROM soundtrack of TurboGrafx-CD release and the gameplay/graphics of the original Arcade version. The gameplay follows the recipe from Doom RPG as it is shown in the first person while being a turn-based role-playing game rather than a shooter and puts emphasis on the plot. Combat and movement are turn-based, allowing the player time to select their responses in combat. The player turns at 90 degree angles and moves space by space. One step or action by the player allows all other characters in the area to take one step or action themselves. The game takes advantage of its deliberately slow pace, encouraging players to take their time and check out every little corner, read the books on every bookshelf, and destroy all the furniture to see if anything is hidden within. Levels include underground passages and weapon development laboratories plus a level involving a moving vehicle.
The game also includes two mini games: the card game War as well as Chicken Kicking, where the player is awarded points for kicking a chicken into a score area.Action Historical
