This game.... THIS GAME. I Love and HATE it. Ma Boi Dorumon is a main character. But the Gameplay is buggy and grindy balance is a heavy gate keep in the 3 hour TUTORIAL all from trying to inch forward.... Even as an adult i am stonewalled by the first boss. If this ever does get preserved Balance patches are NEEDED it feels like it was made for a NG+ on first boot. Still I want to play as Dorumon again.

This was my first Digimon World I played. When my parents bought my PS2 I went shopping for video games and that's when I discovered this game. I spent many hours playing this game and I have no regrets.
This game is terrible and yet I've played so much of it one summer as a kiddo. It's like the idea is there but the execution rolled a nat 1. I just want this game to remembered more so some lowly game devs out there realizes that idea and makes gold out of the concept. I'm always just down for more co-op hack-slash dungeon crawlers with monster based characters.

The idea of this game is really cool, although its execution made our lives a hell. Too grindy and with a low variety of Digimon. Still, very fun to play with friends and should be brought back so we could officiially play it on PC!
Esse sim é o meu digi world, difixil pra caramba, mas eu sempre escolho o Guilmon, essa ideia de colocar armas nas mãos dos digi é muito engraçada, se tivesem evoluido mais a ideia daria pra fazer algo interessante ksksk
I wasn't allowed to have video games growing up, but I used to always sleep over at my friend's house as a kid and we would play Digimon World 4! It was my favorite game growing up! You get to play as Digimon fighting monsters with weapons like an rpg. I thought it was the coolest thing! I still have really fond memories of this game, and still listen to the soundtrack from time to time. Digimon World 4 will always have a special place in my heart.
It was one of most favorite childood game, I still remember when I used to talk to my old friends about it, to cooperate to destroy the bosses, to avoid some traps, tips for the best weapons and digievolutions, it was simple with some issues (some bugs and sometimes balance issues) but on same time fun, I hope if will arrive on GOG, to have a chance to play online on it and I hope with also fix for the bugs and improve the balance.
It's the first game my mom bought for me on the ps2. I played it constantly even though it wasn't great. It holds a lot of sentimental value to me. It's one of the first games where I grinded for levels, the Internet research to finish the nonsensical sidequests and trying to speedrun every dungeon just to get the signature weapons of digimon. It's a core part of my gamer DNA. It has so many issues. Like the tech system where you grind like a madman for every spell , spell level and weapon but it inevitably becomes super unbalanced (I use cheats that level tech up to available max for my level to not rip my beard out), changing weapons is a pain in the neck where you have to go to a guy in the main hub just to equip your new sword and it's super unbalanced with weapon classes being either dogwater or usable. If for some legendary luck it arrives on GOG I hope it releases with an in-built cheat engine. I like this game I swear!
Being honest? If I see this game been relaunched on PC someday it will probably be the funniest day of my life because of how unexpected it would be. I LOVE this game, I remember even skipping some school days to grind my Weregarurumon and Clavisangemon skills and weapons. Its repetitive, kinda grindy if you don't get used to the controls quickly (which is hard)... but I still really liked it. I'm probably just a huge silly digimon fan, but I do think that a relaunch of this game could really upgrade the experience with some little tweaks, specially to reduce the grind and make the game-flow more friendly and fun.
Those games also need your vote!
Elden Ring
Elden RingElden Ring is an action RPG developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, released in February 2022. Directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki, with world-building contributions from novelist George R. R. Martin, the game features an expansive open world called the Lands Between. Players assume the role of a customisable character known as the Tarnished, who must explore this world, battle formidable enemies, and seek to restore the Elden Ring to become the Elden Lord. The game builds on the challenging gameplay mechanics familiar from the Dark Souls series but introduces a more open-ended structure with vast exploration, dynamic weather, and a day-night cycle. It offers deep lore, complex characters, and an interconnected world filled with secrets, dungeons, and powerful bosses.

Zettai Zetsumei Toshi 3: Kowareyuku Machi to Kanojo no Uta
Zettai Zetsumei Toshi 3: Kowareyuku Machi to Kanojo no UtaZettai Zetsumei Toshi 3: Kowareyuku Machi to Kanojo no Uta is the third game in the Zettai Zetsumei Toshi series. Players can choose to play as a boy (Naoki Kosaka) or a girl (Rina Makimura), both of whom start the game trapped in a bus an underground tunnel after a large earthquake. The two player characters have slightly different attributes, which affect gameplay: Naoki is physically strong and self-confident, but becomes stressed more easily, while Rina is physically weak but has a calmer personality, which causes her stress levels to rise more slowly. The thirst and body temperature meter has been replaced by a stress meter. The meter rises after engaging in angry conversations and witnessing/experiencing various traumatic incidents. The player can choose from several responses during conversations, allowing them to choose how to behave towards fellow survivors. These responses allow the player to control the character's personality, and also have occasional effects on the character, such as lowering or raising their stress levels. High stress will affect the character's movements, causing them to have trouble walking. 2-4 players can play cooperatively via ad hoc connection, unlike the first two games, which were only single player.
