**Why *Black Myth: Wukong* on GOG Is the Best Game of the 2020s So Far** *Black Myth: Wukong* has taken the gaming world by storm with its jaw-dropping visuals, deep mythology, and Soulslike combat that doesn’t just mimic—from what we’ve seen so far, it *elevates* the genre. Inspired by the classic Chinese novel *Journey to the West*, this game is already shaping up to be one of the most impressive titles of the 2020s—and bringing it to GOG would solidify its legacy in the digital preservation space. Visually, *Wukong* is on another level. Unreal Engine 5 powers a world that’s rich in detail, atmosphere, and mythical wonder. Every trailer is like watching a playable movie—smooth animation, cinematic camera work, and creature designs straight from folklore nightmares. The attention to environmental storytelling and art direction rivals even the best from studios like FromSoftware and Santa Monica Studio. Combat-wise, *Wukong* strikes a perfect balance between fluidity and challenge. The staff-based fighting, shape-shifting abilities, and mythical powers give the player a unique toolkit that blends strategy with spectacle. It’s a natural evolution of the Soulslike formula, grounded in Eastern mythology instead of Western fantasy—a refreshing shift that feels both authentic and innovative. Releasing it on GOG would be huge. DRM-free access ensures players have complete control over their game, from modding to preservation. Given how important this title is for Asian representation in AAA gaming, it *deserves* a home on a platform that values legacy and player freedom. In short: *Black Myth: Wukong* isn’t just a game—it’s a statement. A technical marvel, a cultural celebration, and a genre-defining experience all rolled into one. And so far? It’s the best the 2020s have offered.

The game is great. No DRM if the game gets added to GOG. Hopefully same thing happens to the Shin Megami Tensei Persona games as well. Hope we see a bright future for this game and others like it.
Those games also need your vote!

Onimusha 3: Demon Siege
Onimusha 3: Demon SiegeOnimusha 3 is the third game of the Onimusha series. The game retains elements from previous games in the franchise including the use of multiple special weapons in order to fight enemies and absorb their energy to enhance the weaponry. This time the player primarily controls both Samanosuke and Jacques in separate scenarios. The two are able to exchange items in order to solve puzzles. The development from this game started after the release of the PlayStation 2 which allowed the team to work on a 3D engine to design 3D backgrounds. In order to appeal to the Western market, the team set this game in Paris and chose French actor Jean Reno to portray Jacques. Onimusha 3 has been generally well received by publications for video games. Most of the writer's praise focused on the improved controls and the use of a 3D engine that allowed better combat and visuals, respectively. The game also generated good sales with over 1.5 million copies sold as of May 2008.
