Thanks man!... I try to avoid reddit for spoilers.
can you switch between them in options or some other way? or if you installed dlc you will have only new look?

When you've installed DLC, you have to keep it installed else you can't load your saves that you've made since you installed it anymore.

At least that's the case with the beard & hairstyle set, because I wasn't using it so tried to remove it yesterday - only to find the game told me I couldn't load my saves because the DLC was required.

There is a toggle for it in the options menu under 'downloadable content'.

So you can make a save with the DLC active and then deactivate it in-game and still load the save? So, in other words, you can switch the costumes back and forth without braking your save?

I haven't seen Yennefer since I arrived in Velen so I haven't really tried out the DLC beyond seeing the menu toggle. However, I did just switch it to off and was able to load savegames I've made since installing it.
Her DLC may be different since it doesn't load any new assets on your character in game, unlike the beard and hair or the Temerian armor.

I prefer her default look though. Much classier.

Where is this supposed to be exactly?
Maybe only on console? PC doesn't have that option.

I'm playing it on a PC and it doesn't appear on the options menu once in game; probably something that can't be turned on and off once you've loaded. It appears for me when you access the options menu from the title screen. It's the last item after language and credits (another item that doesn't appear once in game).

I should also note that the menu option didn't exist until after I installed the Yennefer DLC.
love the feathers
I love the stockings @_@. And even with the stockings CDPR did not turn Yen into a dirty slut. Which is a great plus. Well done!

Absolutely agree. The stockings are just so tarty.

Ah that could explain it, don't have the option on the title screen either.
BUT I didn't install the Costume DLC yet because I wasn't sure if I like it. The "classic" costume looks pretty good.
